What Ike did in my opinion can't be done today. The reason is simple: we do not have real Generals we have Politicians and Politically Correct yes men an compliant social engineers. The next promotion and a cushy and lucrative civilian job are all that matters. Example: Colin Powell. At first he spoke the t***h about the Islamic Messiah, but then the Liberal Powers that be cut him off. The phone didn't ring and no more invites to those cocktail parties. Didn't take long for for Der Generals tune to change. Then all was forgiven and the Prodigals phone rang once again to say nothing about the parties. Mix that with the total and complete corruption of both Parties in cahoots with Big Business(Tyson) and the fact that they can't even spell patriotism let alone be it and we are done.

As a Legally admitted immigrant and now CITIXEN I am at a loss how these so called Demoncrtas think that this will solve ANY problems.They/Obama DO NOT want to solve this as they will need a dumbed down v**er base now and in the future so they can rule and enrich themselves ONLY.I remember well how this country functioned before and when Reagan "pardoned" the i******s mid 80's the border security was basically filibustered by DEMONCRATS .Carter is the FATHER of this mess as I remember it well when he "opened" the door
