The Buckeye Firearms Foundation created the “Zimmerman Second Amendment Fund”

They can only give the money to him or a FFL Dealer toward his purchase. If they buy it, it can be considered a "straw" purchase. I wonder whether the State of Florida will allow the purchase.

I read that they gave him his own gun back to him. He was acquitted of course, so they have no reason to keep his gun from him.

They were going to; however, according to what I read before it could be returned, Holder told FL they have to hold all evidence from the case for DOJ review.

I donated to the fund. (Yes Auntie, I had already found it. It was a rhetorical question). I believe I specified no cheap replacements.

Maybe they ought to get him a AR15 and maybe next time the government will think twice before keeping someone’s property.

It's all good. I donated. They have received so many donations they stopped accepting them. For Twelve grand, George can get a much better pistol than the one Holder won't give back.
