If he hasn't already discovered Mel's Country Cafe, I am sure he will be visiting it soon. If he is absent for any length of time we may assume that is where he might be located. He does have a healthy appetite. Both Alex and I can affirm this.

That it does, and he leaves no scraps for his dogs. In that sense, he might be declared heartless. However, he doesn't scarf up his dogs vittles, and for that he is to be commended. I could never find fault with Boot.

Perhaps not, but I would wager Boot could if given the time.

I can't find any fault either. Let's not put him on a pedestal....he might think he is 'special' or something! He is. We just don't have to let him know!!
Don't tell him I said that!!

I don't have to tell him, he is already aware of it, after all, he is a Marine. That makes him special in his own right.

Archie, you all have been busted :!: :hunf: Salty is without flaw.

I spent a lot of time around Tomball in the 60's, when the best restaurant was Goodson's Cafe. They served a chicken-fried steak that spanned a zip-code. It was mine & my brothers favorite dining spot. I do not remember there being a Mel's Cafe in those days. But, it does appear to be a place worth visiting my next trip through the Houston area :!: :P

Thanks for the tip. I see it as a minor challenge. 8-)

So did the Marine Corps, and it is a known fact they never lie. They have only the best of the best.
