I agree. I am not a Christian so the Bible is not my holy book. I believe I will be judged by the standards laid down in the holy book of my faith. I will be shown the errors of my ways. I do not believe in hell or eternal punishment. I choose to try to live by the rules not because I fear punishment but because it is the right thing to do.
I do not believe a person must follow a particular path. To me any path that brings you peace, joy, makes you a better person, and brings you closer to your God is the right path for you.
To me it stands to reason, God made us all individuals. Why then would there be only one way to be closer to God? It is the exclusion of other paths that brings about the horrid acts most religions have committed based upon their religious belief that they are the only way. Just my opinion.

I thought of a multitude of ways to reply but in the end I will respect your beliefs and mention this only once. There is in fact only ONE way to acquire salvation. Its not by going to church, being a good person, performing good works, etc. It can only be obtained through the cleansing blood of Jesus Christ. Without going into details, I am living proof of this because I cant even begin to describe how it has set me free.
Like I said, Ill respect your beliefs and mention this to you only once
So how do you acquire salvation with it corresponding freedom? Five simple steps:
1. Admit you are a sinner
Romans 3:23 For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of Gods glorious standard.
2. Understand that as a sinner, you will die
Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord.
3. Believe that Jesus died on the cross and was raised from the dead to save you from sin and death
Romans 10:9-11; 13 9 If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
10 For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by confessing with your mouth that you are saved.
11 As the Scriptures tell us, Anyone who trusts in him will never be disgraced.
13 For Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.
4. Receive, in faith through Jesus, his free gift of salvation
Romans 5:1 Therefore, since we have been made right in Gods sight by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us.
5. Repent by turning from your old life of sin to a new life in Jesus.
For what its worth
