The singular issue with Cruz is that he doesn't appeal to a broad enough v**er base. He can't or won't make it past Vermont unless he attracts more centrists or young people. He spends too much time demonizing members of his own party for compromising...how does one take the politics out of politics...seriously?

He has accomplished little more than Obama-well, he did v**e, which is 1000 times more productive than Obama, but alienating yourself by degrading your fellow representatives only puts one in charge of the pile of s**t, not real leadership.

You must be a natural born citizen to be the President of the United State of America. He is more than qualified to be the president of the tea party.
Sure happy he has his family on affordable health care (aka Obama care). That is about the smartest thing he has done yet. If he keeps going this way, he will be a liberal by the end of 2015.

Quick question: Did Cruz have to apply for his U.S. citizenship, or was it given to him at birth?

Romney threw Cruz under the bus? Oh, that's rich. ROLMFAO.

BTW, Cruz' father may have fought for Castro, but he turned against that and had to get the hell out of there or be k**led.

And, Senator Cruz has already presented his BC, it isn't in Canada.

Cruz refused the federal subsidies. Big difference there.

You l*****ts have your heads so far up your asses if you aren't careful you'll turn yourselves inside out.

http://www.politifact.com/t***h-o-meter/article/2013/aug/20/ted-cruz-born-canada-eligible-run-president/

The Republican senator from Texas says he can. And just to be sure, he’s taking the extra step of renouncing the Canadian citizenship he says he didn’t even know he had.

Cruz -- full name: Rafael Edward Cruz --was born in Canada in 1970 because his father was working for the oil industry there. The senator’s recently released birth certificate shows his mother was born in Delaware and his father was born in Cuba. The Cruz family left Canada a few years later. Cruz grew up in Texas and graduated from high school there, later attending Princeton University and Harvard Law School.

By virtue of his American-born mother, Cruz, 42, considers himself a natural born citizen and eligible to run for president.

So is he eligible? The vast majority of legal thought and arguments indicate he is.
The Constitution says any candidate for president must be 35 years of age, a resident within the United States for 14 years and a "natural born citizen."

We’ve looked at the question of natural born citizenship before. Back in 2008, people raised questions about the "natural born" citizenship status of both major party candidates.

<snip>

And finally, if that lying POS in office right now was "eligible" then any tom, dick and harry will be after him..
Vetting is a joke~~Another screw up when he was "put in office"............
