Birthdays

Yesterday was my Birthday. Never thought I would live to be 61. I must admit I was a little depressed. I was having an bad MS episode and feeling sorry for myself.
Enter the Grandkids. Presents, cake, and ice cream. It was then I realized how fortunate I truly am. I may be older than dirt but I have a daughter and two beautiful Grandkids who love me. Sure I have problems but who doesn't?
I have been blessed. Life may not be easy but when you have people that love you even when you may not deserve that love, it sure is truly a wonderful life. So I thanked my God for the many blessing I have and vowed to stop complaining about the things I want but obviously do not need.

Thank you for the birthday wishes. I believe sometimes I get so caught up in what I can't accomplish, I miss the wonderful gifts I have been given. Life can be hard but anything worthwhile usually is. I loose sight of that from time to time.
