A pastor lives a year as an Atheist...and becomes one!

For the whole year, we filmed Ryan (a total of 62 separate shoots), gaining more intimacy into his life and the lives of his family and friends directly impacted by his decision. At the end of the year, Ryan announced that he would not be returning to the church, but instead would now consider himself a humanist and an agnostic atheist. So the question remains, how could a man that served the church for so many years now become convinced that God doesn't exist? We want the opportunity to show you.

So how about it Christians--I challenge you to live a year without god!!!

How could I live without GOD since HE'S in me?
Just because someone is a pastor doesn't mean he's a believer. Some folks just pretend to "serve" the church because, unfortunately, the church business can be very lucrative.
If I went one minute without GOD, I would call that hell.

Why would I?

Would I live a year without food? Water? T***h? Love?

No thanks.

You can make your own choice. I choose to live eternity with God.

And what would be so hellish about it? The who point is that going without god isn't hell. In fact, from my own personal experience is a relief and is like having a weight lifted from my shoulders.

Hell is the absence of God.

You may have disowned Him, but He has not disowned you.

The sun shines on the unbelievers as it does on the believers.

Hopefully you'll come to your senses. But that is your choice. A choice given to you by God.

And what makes you think that is a choice? It's only when you step away from something that you can truely see it--living an eternity with or without god isn't something we can choose to do. The good news is that your life will be no different than it was before you were born...

Actually all choices are given to us by ourselves. And whether Tooth Fairy beleives in me doesn't mean that I should believe in it...

Faith by nature requires deniability. You don't need faith to believe there is air or gravity.

I cannot prove the existence of God, (other than the obvious) and you cannot prove me wrong.

God as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit re the source of my faith.

What is the source of your faith?

Because hell is separation from GOD. I know, because life was hell on earth for me until I accepted HIS love and forgiveness and a new life. I was 37.
I used to think the same way. And now I know that GOD makes rules to keep us from hurting ourselves and others.

God say's I lay before you life and death, choose life. God is not mocked and His Word does not return unto Him void. Many preachers are in it for the money and have no real relationship. It is beyond me why anyone who having found God's love would ever turn away from it. I will not even for a second. I would bet if you could find the data, 100 atheist turn to God for every one of His children who turn away. Stupid is as stupid does.

GOD is a loving father. Even fathers on earth teach their children rules to keep them safe. Don't play in the street. Don't drink Clorox. Don't stick your hand on the stove. Discipline is necessary.

That's right, boss. Why would anyone choose to lose the most perfect love they will ever know?!

I find it odd and ironic that atheist are often so sure of themselves based solely on their personal blind faith in nothingness.

First...How can one be a agnostic atheist?

Second...I NEVER WOULD and NEVER COULD live a year without God.
