while fishing off the bank
I noticed a cotton mouth snake trying to swallow a frog
knowing the snake couldn't bite me with the frog in his mouth,i grabbed him behind the head and extricated the frog
now I had a dilemma
how could I release the snake without getting bit??
then I took a pint of Jack Daniels and poured a generous slug in the snakes throat and he went limp
releasing the snake I used the frog as fish bait
after several minutes I felt a nudge on my foot
it was that cotton mouth with two more frogs in his mouth
AINT LIFE GREAT

That is one intelligent and discerning snake. Jack and I had an amicable relationship in the past. We still meet on occasion.

When I was much younger, Jack and I had some wild weekends. Sunday morning hangovers were tough.
