Hey, BadBobby, ya got 12 years on this 'okie'. Yeah, East Texas is piny Wood's nice. Got relatives in Long view and live goibd down... I read a lot now. Studybtge Bible. I was in Army '( Code intercept operator). Interviewed with CIA in '65, can still take Morse code...

Kool. My father was on Iwo. 1stvclass Chief Petty Officer. Thought I was his 144 man platoon. Wanted me to address him as SUR! I said "'Dad, BULLS**T, your my father"' !
He never mentioned it again. NOR did he talk about Iwo Jima.

Your getting up THERE mouse man.
My uncle 'flew the hump'in in Berma,I think.
He was an Air force pilot. He's still 'kicking' in Texas. A B29 huh, Saw one in Dayton,Ohio at Air force museum. Quite a plane. That's why they wanted Iwo Jima, to land and refuel. Din'think they ever used Iwo tho! Not sure...
