Well. I don't really have a tune. What I have is a song I heard back in the mid 90's. Not sure what genre it was. Probably death metal or something like that. I h**ed the song, but it had a few sections where the guy singing shut up, and the sweetest soprano voice I ever heard sang for a few seconds. Does this ring a bell with anyone? I'd like to find out who she is, and whether or not she went on to a solo career. Her voice can only be described as angelic.

That's not really much to go on Bo, I can think of a half dozen like that, but I know Linda Joy is a music aficionado maybe try to PM her, she may be able to help you out.

Sorry, need a little bit more to go on. Supertramp's "Don't Leave Me Now" came to mind (the very end of the song) but that is far far from death metal.

While I can't help, if you have access to Mozart's Piano Concerto no's 19 and 20 it will make you forget that which you are pondering.

Don't remember any lyrics. All I remember is that it was similar to death metal. You know, the kind where it sounds like the words are being ripped out of their throat? Think of someone in a movie, possessed by a demon, and you'll be close. There were a few breaks where a woman took over, singing soprano. That's all I remember. If we had voice chat, I could hum a few bars.
