Christians it's time to get over your illusions

"One man with courage makes a majority"- Andrew Jackson

One evil man had the audacity to attack Christianity and defend Islam in the midst of 3,500 Christians at the recent National Prayer Breakfast.

"Many criticized Barack Obama's speech afterward, but not a single Christian in that room had the courage to speak t***h to power." Why is that?

Evil operates through people, and it does what it's supposed to do. Evil lies, seduces, divides and gives false illusions in order to conquer. God is greater than satan. If we were truly God's children, we would have the wisdom to overcome evil with good. But most "good" people lack the understanding and courage to stand up to evil when it counts. Instead, they allow evil to have it's way and then whimper about it afterward. What good does that serve?

Christians are not conquering evil because most are resentful and unrepentant. Many Christians have false illusions that they are saved from sin, but if that were true, good would be crushing evil across the land. We all know that's not the case.

Instead of questioning why we're losing, Christians are h*****g on to illusions about what they think they know. Most people don't want their illusions of "goodness" pulled away, and that's the problem. If you try to tear down the misconception of who they think they are, they'll get angry and turn on you.

If children of God were doing what we're supposed to do, evil would be complaining about us-that we're too committed to guiding our families and that's it's too hard to seduce us away from the t***h.

I regularly pose a "Biblical question of the week" to my radio audience. These are questions I've been pondering myself, and I'm sincerely seeking feedback from my listeners to encourage them to examine what they think they know. For example, I recently asked my audience: "What does it mean to be born in sin? What is the sin you were born into?"

I receive truckloads of calls and e-mails in response to these types of questions from people who know the Bible inside and out. Their answers sound good, but when I question them they often get irritated and revert to quoting scripture.

I've come to realize that many Christians have stored up KNOWLEDGE about the Bible, but the t***h is not alive in them. And when they are challenged to think a little deeper about what they believe their foundation begins to crumble.

"Everyone who heareth these sayings of Mine and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, who built his house upon the sand." Matthew 7:26

Our p***e and refusal to face our illusions causes us to spend a lifetime building a life on a weak foundation. Christians have allowed evil to take God out of public schools; they have allowed their tax dollars to be used to fund a******ns; and now evil is attacking the holy institution of marriage.

In Atlanta where 80% of the residents oppose same-sex marriage, homosexual activists are pushing to legalize it. If Christians lose ground in Alabama, we don't stand a chance elsewhere.

A telltale sign that a person does not know God is that they lack the courage to speak up when evil is acting out. (The silence heard during Obama's derisive National Prayer Breakfast speech is deafening.)

Dr Ben Carson displayed courage when he spoke at the National Prayer Breakfast in 2013. Carson fearlessly pointed out Obama's lawlessness and contempt for the U.S. Constitution, while Obama squirmed in his seat.

Rep. Joe Wilson, R-SC, displayed courage when he shouted the words "You lie" during an Obama State of the Union Address. Wilson had the courage to say what most were thinking but were afraid to say.

Barack Obama and others like him have a direct connection to evil; whereas too often people serving God are not directly connected to t***h. This is why Obama can lie and push his destructive agenda and mercilessly attack our freedoms and sacred institutions.

Christians should not be content blaming politicians or any other physical entity for their problems. The problems we need to face are NOT physical; they're spiritual. Unless we repent of our false illusions and what we think we know, and instead re-establish a REAL connection to our heavenly Father, it's all for naught. Until we do this, we can't help our children, our nation or ourselves.

We need to turn back to the Father and repent in order for things to get better. Then he will guide our steps. We will no longer be controlled by our illusions, and we will have the courage to stand against evil anywhere it raises it's ugly head.

When Jesus was making a point, only one man had the courage to stand up for his convictions and hurl a rock at the sinner. The rest stood around and grumbled obscenities under their beards. Then when he was passing out the fish and the loaves, only a few brave hearts had the moxy to label him a bleeding heart, liberal c*******t.But the c**p de grace was when he administered free medical care to the guy who was dead and another bunch who were severely disabled. You should have heard the uproar from the medical establishment and the money changers at the temple. There was a call to arms by the 99% and rightly so. Let this be a lesson to all.

Very good article. Glad Dr Carson was mentioned because he is exactly what America needs as our next leader: guts to speak out, integrity, honesty, common sense and values. He abhors politics and PC but loves our country and its constitution. Walker( whose PARENTS' home is being picketed this very minute) and Carson would be a great team to lead us in the right direction.
