Sheriff Joe Arpaio or Sheriff Joke as he is known outside of the Valley is heading to court for a criminal contempt of court hearing. You see Joke didn't follow the direction of a Federal court and stop racial profiling and now he is going before the same court to explain himself. Criminal contempt charges can bring with them big fines and even jail time. The sheriff makes inmates in his jail wear pink outfits in an effort to humiliate them. I hope the federal judge that hears Arpaios case has a sense of humor and makes Sheriff Joke wear a pink jumpsuit while serving a contempt sentence.

He disobeyed the court, and should face the music, As for Sharpton, he has been paying on his back taxes for about 5 years, he has an agreement with the IRS. You are talking about contempt "FOR" Congress, Moldy, and I was referring to contempt "OF" Congress. Whole different ball-of-wax. Contempt OF Congress should be a whole lot more serious than contempt of a lower "court!!!"
And Sharpton, like most liberal progressives, don't feel obligated to America for ANYTHING. It's the minority "victim" game.

I have never mentioned or supported Al Sharpton, he has nothing to do with Arpaio violating an order of the court. I have no place deciding what topics you choose to place on OPP, you should show me or anyone else the the same respect. If you want to post something about Reverand Sharpton, go ahead. Sheriff Joke is a sworn law enforcement officer and yet he flaunts a binding court order. It looks like Sherif Jokes circus has come to the final act, I only hope the judge gives this joker a taste of his own medicine. The largest v****g block in Phoenix is bitter old white folks who h**e Mexicans, they would v**e for Hitler as long as he went after the Mexicans with a vengeance like Sheriff Joke. And you are right it is not likely he will go to jail he will have his department heavily fined at taxpayer expense. Joke is no fool and in court it will be all yessir yer honor, a real ass kissing show. Hopefully the Judge will appoint an administrator to take over and run the department to insure it is run within the law. It is pretty stupid to thumb your nose at a judge who has a lifetime appointment and the authority to toss you in jail. Throwing a corrupt Sheriff in jail is a good way to show people that no one is above the law, and that our justice system works slowly but for everyone.
