The mother of all radical Muslim jokes....

slatten49 Loc: Lake Whitney, Texas

Two Middle Eastern mothers are sitting in a cafe chatting over a plate of tabouli and a pint of goat's milk. The older of the two pulls a bag out of her purse and starts flipping through photos. They start reminiscing.

"This is my oldest son, Mujibar. He would have been twenty-four years old now. He's a martyr, though," the mother confided.

"And this is my second son, Khalid. He would have been twenty-one. He's a martyr too," she said.

"And here is my third son, my baby. My beautiful Ahmed. He would have been eighteen," she whispers.

"Yes," says the friend. "I remember when he first started school. A darling child."

"He's a martyr also," says the mother, now with tears in her eyes. "Allah be praised."

After a pause and a deep sigh, the second radical Muslim mother looks wistfully at the photographs and, searching for the right words, says...

"They blow up so fast, don't they?"

Yes, the youth of Islam fly high, fast and 30 yards in all directions. How many times have we heard a youngster say "If I don't get out of here I'll explode!", well, those boys over there mean it.

With all the daily "offerings" provided to Allah, I bet he's getting rather annoyed by now. I can imagine him saying " what do they expect me to do with this mess? I can't tell who's who, they all look the same to me!". I suppose he could tell them to stop, but with all those virgins running around - well - I guess he's rather distracted.

Prom must be interesting over there, instead of debutantes coming out, they have detonates - and they come out full force in an expanding shock wave. At any rate, I suppose we need to keep a watch out for masked men speaking French - and hit the deck if we see one.

It's bad taste for you to laugh about your friend's Rumi.
