"Bobbi" who!?

I am a compassionate person, and I feel sorry ofr the families of junkies: however that may be, I am not so inclined towards the plight of individuals who choose to so damage themselves as to become users in the first place.

I have been told how addictions are diseases and I can concur that they do make one uncomfortable, which is a part of the definition of what makes a a disease, classified as such.

I have a disease: cancer and it is taking my life. Big deal for me! Small incident for most everyone else. I am not famous, and my story does not warrant the attempt to make money for other people who apparently have little legitimate life to live.

Bobbi Kristina Houston, (she won't even use her given last name, in an attempt to proclaim her disgust with her father, and latch on to the fame of her late, junkie mother) has decided that she would make an attempt at gaining fame by committing an act of insanity: a suicide attempt.

The only reason for my having this information, is that one of my nieces decided that the story was worthy of my knowing anything about it.

This trash is making a move to place the rest of the world out of her miserable presence, and I am not in the mood to hear about another rich and spoiled individual, who thinks that her life is so terrible to have been born into wealth, given everything in life without the necessity of having had worked for any of it; and then complaining about having more than she will ever have needed.

I get tired thinking of how difficult it must have been to never have had to think about when her next meal was coming to her mouth. I know, she had a junkie mother, but she was surrounded by family who did everything for her. Her mom was done before she was even born, but she left her well-off, and the little scumbag has done nothing other than to waste her inheritance. boo hoo.

I see people who have no families to support them, but they fight to live through the abusive nature of their cancer. I do not have time for the poor little rich girl, who in fact, would never have to worry about living, other than to form her own identity, and find a good financial planner.

I'm upset that my niece sent this story to me.

I guess younger people are truly lost to the concept of self-determined successes, and working to do something which actually contributes to their world.

No wonder America is in such a state of disarray.
:( We truly should be worried.

I taught my children to be better than they wanted to be, better than they needed to be, and better than they wanted everyone else to be in their treatment of self, and of other people.

You're welcome; for the Dr. and the Social developer, of which the world now has services. They strive daily to enhance the lives of everyone they touch. They seek to help, not wait to be asked, they offer rather than shy away, the willingly sacrifice, rather than complain that they are having too much asked of them.

I am proud of who they are, because other people, actually matter to their life's missions.

Deal with that one, if you can: Bobbi Kristina, and those who fail the world, just are you are doing today.

God luck to her family, they should not have to live through this inanity.

 Good post. I'm sure more than a few feel for you. I am curious if you are only doing what the Dr. orders you to do. I hope you are also taking you vitamins (especially 'C' in LARGE quantities) and 2 tablespoons of Lemon Juice daily. Can't hurt. I have read lemon juice is better than kemo. Also you really should take Ubiquinol.
May God be with you.

You seem like a heartless SOB, without compassion. Are you jealous that she was born into wealth? Having a parent like Bobby Brown supplying half your DNA is not good. But, Whitney was special before marrying him. The child did not grow up in a functional environment, she grew up in a drug house, it is amazing that she was not addicted too. Now she is parentless, because Brown was never a parent. So, we see that money does not bring happiness. Love is needed, I wish that you were capable of showing some love.

The problem with taking antioxidants (like vitamin C) during cancer chemotherapy is that the cancer cells also use them to protect themselves from oxidative damage-- reducing the efficacy of the chemo, which depends on the agents being more toxic to the cancer cells than to your slower-growing non-cancer cells. May God be with you.

Yes, "Moldy", you are absolutely right: I am envious, and I am a heartless SOB!
Now that the nonsense has been dealt with: allow me one more point: Brown is not her problem, Houston was a junkie before she met him, and she admitted to this in several interviews.

I am talking to the fact that Bobbi is a self-mutilating jackass, who seeks to destroy herself for the attention which her talent is not capable of bringing to her. Also, her unwillingness to put in the work, which might serve to do more for those people who even give a damn about her.

If she k**ls herself; no, I will not mourn her; just as I did not mourn her mother, who chose to die with drugs rather than to live with dealing with her problems.

If this makes me heartless; I'm on board with your interpretation. I see people dying everyday: trying to LIVE! To the grave with those who choose to fight for the right to k**l themselves needlessly, in a show of ultimate self-disrespect and community trash-building!

I am fine with knowing that I have little time left; because I have contributed to the world. Less than this; I would be worthy of self-contempt. Thank GOD (Yes, I said GOD!) that I remained true to the morals my parents taught to me.

If you want to worship at Bobbi Kristina's altar: do so; but shame on you, when you find out, that all that you have done, was to eliminate a legitimate place at a table where your every need will be taken care of, and desires will not even be a thing to be known.

I am donating my eyes, and my liver and a few other parts, to those who will be able to use them after I die in a few months. Heart included. I guess you're partially correct after all: I will be heartless, soon!

I'm working with an herbalist-holistic medicine Dr. now; it seems however that it is too far gone for me to find any help. I am alright with my fate, because I tried.

Thanks for the supportive info, it is good to see that some of my fellow-inhabitants are more concerned with reaching down to pick those who have fallen down, that to simply walk over them in an attempt to appease their own egos.

Thank you for the info. I knew going in that it would be a long-shot for anything to be of any significant value. Bit I know that no matter when it happens; God has left me two children behind who will make at least some small part of our world just a little bit better.

Thank God!

Hi Zyro0713, I also am a believer in holistic remedies. I'm not a doctor so I can't or wont give any advice but I want to share my own experiences. I believe in never giving up. As one cancer add said "there is no expiration date stamped to the bottom of your feet". I would like to share this one site with you that you might check on. It's http://www.oocities.org/oldtoby779/essiac.pdf
I've used this therapy for about 5 months and now I am on Apple Cider Vinegar and Baking Soda regimen. You can check that out by Goggling it.
I tell you this because I had cancer in my one lung 13 years ago. That was cured with surgery. I now have cancer in the other lung and have had Cyber Knife treatments and very nicely in remission. Even with this I still follow holistic measures to try to bolster my i****e s****m. I firmily believe it helps. These are both extremely cheap things to try and they surly won't hurt you. I truly believe they help me. Even with all this I feel like a million dollars and at 82 years old. Like I've said, this is just information. Hope it helps.
