Why stop at $9 - if that's a good idea, why is 10 a better one?
Yes we proably should raise it to some insane rate , that would be in their minds, because it would cost them nothing and they gain more tax money and only we business folks have to divy up some more for them to waste on buying v**es.
Their out of control and are always looking for some way to blame someone else for their spending policies.
