Very true and if they want to R**t against the Police State or just the plain State... do it front of the White House then...

By: Joseph Farrah

I’m perplexed...

I see Americans r**ting and even assassinating police because they believe b****s are being unjustly targeted by law enforcement and subjected disproportionately to excessive force.

Yet the facts of the two cases these anti-cop activists cite – Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri, and Eric Garner in New York – are at the very least nuanced. They have also been widely investigated by reporters, grand juries and with a great deal of exculpatory evidence available publicly.

So what is it that prompts the mayhem in the streets?

And more to the point of this commentary, why is the outrage so selective?

I’m outraged, too, when I see excessive force used by police – especially when it is used against those who represent no threat to the public whatsoever.

Readers of this column know I have been almost “obsessed” about one case of a police shooting of a black woman in our nation’s capital.

The victim’s name was Miriam Carey.

Her crime? Making a wrong turn near the White House.

For this possible traffic violation, Carey was shot and k**led in a hail of wild-west-style gunfire by the C*****l P****e while she sat motionless in her car surrounded by authorities – with her infant daughter in a car seat miraculously surviving the fusillade. Though this shocking incident took place more than a year ago, authorities, including the Justice Department, Secret Service and police are still withholding from the public any reasonable explanation of what went down in this case. All of the surveillance video of the shooting has been withheld. There’s a track record of stonewalling and cover-up in this case that is breathtakingly remarkable.

Now if you want to protest unrighteous police shootings, I will join you in the name of Miriam Carey – but not Michael Brown and Eric Garner.

The failure to mention Miriam Carey, whose only sin seems to have been to come too close to Barack Obama’s palace, in connection with excessive force suggests to me the r****rs and protesters are either disingenuous as to their motives or shockingly ignorant of the facts.

Where are the protests of Miriam Carey’s death?

I want to participate in those protests.

Her totally unnecessary death at the hands of police makes me so outraged, I would be at the front lines of such a demonstration.

What happened to her could happen to anyone in the police state that Washington, D.C., has become. That is a real problem – a real concern. You don’t have to twist facts and manipulate the t***h to see real injustice in the case of Miriam Carey, which is why I am at a total loss to understand why she is forgotten and Michael Brown remembered.

It doesn’t make any sense.

But, then again, nothing about the obsession with Michael Brown and Eric Garner does.

I don’t think the motivations for the protests, r**ts and murders of police have anything to do with the facts of those cases. I don’t think they have anything to do with real compassion for Michael Brown and Eric Garner. I don’t think they have anything to do with concern over injustice. If they did, Miriam Carey would be their Exhibit A – their trump card, their cause celebre.

So what goes on here?

Why does the shockingly brutal and totally unjustified police shooting of a young black mother get almost no attention from the national media, other than WND, and the protesters, while the much less black-and-white cases of Brown and Garner provoke irrational hysteria on a massive scale?

Is it ignorance?

Is it willful blindness?

Is it selective outrage?

Is it the lack of any moral standards?

Or is it all of the above?

I'm a little disappointed at you Mr. Farrah for pulling an Al Sharpton on us...it's a bit late to bring it up now...I agree with your premiss, but I think it's wrong to give ammo to any of the over zealous members of our society to Spring on this...I would rather hear you say something about the unfairness of CRIMINALS b***hing because they were assaulted by police after they committed crimes...the two dead young black men would be alive if they had only complied with the police officers who were arresting them...PERIOD!

How convenient. You forgot to mention the part where she rammed police barricades, drove 50 MPH over the speed limit in a congested city, drove over medians, and hit another vehicle. Yeah, they should have given her a hug to make her day better.

Sure it says otherwise; it was written by a Liberal.

Here's a video of the final few seconds of the incident and clearly show her hitting a police car. She was out of control and all she had to do is stop. I found a few photos near where this began and it shows her ramming a cop trying to stop her. Another shows how she jumped the median during the pursuit.

The only thing 'funny' is the non-stop attempts of Liberals to spin the facts of any story into something that is not true, but will inflame their base.

Keep editing the t***h until you get a story you can sell. That's Liberal (sic) journalism.

What about the speculation that Ms.Carey gave birth to a love child of Obama? If there is any t***h to that Obama would prevent all news from breaking. Anything is possible for the scandal originator in chief!

I can not understand why others can't see that they are not neglecting other s who have been shot. These two were the last straw in a number of wrongful police k*****gs. These are the ones that were in the news that everyone saw big time. If things aren't reported, it is not the protesters fault No one is forgotten in all this. It's just everyone has had enough, except for those that agree with the k*****gs.
