The one reason American politics is breaking up is becaue they are not interested in working for the people, but for how rich they can get from corporations and from our taxes. When they need a raise all they have to do is convince another person like them. It is easy. I have two solutions. 1. Go back to clomial times and have them serve as volunteers. No pay, no people to pay them from a corporate account, no money from anything just taking care of the people interests, not anything else. The government can furnish them a rental house and car. 2. Make congress pay for a v**e from the people on the raises they think they deserve.

You are right about the politicians not working for the people. They v**e on bills that will benefit the corporations who fill their coffers with contributions for ree******n. It matters not what the people need or want but as long as they get their piece of the pie and leave us the crumbs they are happy with themselves. Greed is a great motivator among politicians. Most if not all are millionaires when they leave office. How is that possible on their salary?

I totally agree! NOW is the time to take a serious look at a non-politician, non PC man in '16: Dr. Ben Carson. His life story, his books, speeches and common sense answers to our country's problems appeal to people from all parties. He is the real deal. So the question is, what will America do with him in the next two years?

After reading most of Dr.Ben Carson's books now I have come to the think he may just be the answer to healing this nation/on the other hand I think the state that each house/senate who was elected from each state should be payed by them an not have the free rains to v**e themselves a raise at will.plus this will keep their ass on the up&up otherwise the people who put them their can kick their lying ass out,to put it plainly checks & balances.

I hope you are correct but after what happened in the House reelecting that person as Speaker I am convinced we are not going to get anywhere. Thank God I won't live to see our great nation go the way of all great Republics - done in by the greed of the rulers.

I'd like to put in my two cents worth on Ben Carson. I think his principles and ideals are exactly what this country needs. He has demonstrated that he is intelligent, that he is capable in his field and is not afraid to offer his ideas - even in front of the current occupant of the White House. My only fear is that his not coming from a political background will make him a vulnerable target for the left. I am hopeful that he will be able to convince enough people that his ideals for America are what we need. There are many people out there who could lead and would be good for America but Hillary is NOT one of them. Obama represents, almost 100%, the exact opposite of what this country needs. I am sitting on pins & needles for the next two years, hoping and praying that he doesn't do more terrible things that will ruin the US.

Forkbassman, I totally agree with you. The only problem with Dr. Carson running is all the misinformation and down right lies the left will spread about this fine man. Being a black conservative in America is the same thing to liberals as a stake is to a vampire. Black conservatives are a stark contrast to the liberal lies that America has been spoon fed by Democrats and their partners in h**e, the MSM. Dr. Carson is a prime example of hard work and I'm no victim attitude. Liberals can't have his story told for fear of being exposed as the frauds they are. One thing is for sure, if Dr. Carson were to win the progressives house of lies will rapidly start to crumble. We must pray for leadership and the hand of GOD to return to this nation before it's too late.

I agree with you on Dr. Ben Carson & I don't see a problem with him not coming from a political background...We got too many Dynasties as it is & I think the fact that he is a common man NOT a politician is very attractive to many if they just PRESS it ...He doesn't need this job, but wants it to help If he is chosen & I sure hope he is...no one else shows me much at this time...most of 'em are still wet behind the ears...

That's one of America's biggest problems , the Clinton's, the Bush's and the current i***t Barry. If we are to take back our country it must start at the state level. But there is so much corruption at that level that until we,( everybody), roll our sleeves up and stop this madness we will continue to wallow in this sewer.

Amen. I have been praying for Dr Ben since last summer. That talk he gave with BHO sitting two seats from him at the table convinced me that he is one man that can do the job. The left will jump on him for his Christian beliefs but that's OK. We'll keep praying.
