New Years Eve

I hope yours was as pleasant as mine. My grandson was asleep in the basement, and I was upstairs with all the friends I have spend past New Years Eves with. I remembered them, I smiled, and I laughed. So long as I remember them, they are not really dead.

I feel your message. Weather we have control??? That's a whole different discussion. For example. I once loved a women who refused to stop smoking until 4 weeks before it k**led her. 8 years I begged her to stop but only got yelled at. A week before death she said, " I would have quit if I had known it would k**l me." I was angry but, I didn't have the heart to say to her, "I told you so." My point being that we all have choices but, choices of difficulty or pain are most often refused even when those choices may k**l. Denial is a very real spirit.

Different political views are immaterial. Wouldn't it be a boring world if we all agreed--a little more agreement would be nice. Your respect and admiration is very important to me.
