Raising minimum wage only serves 1 purpose to create a bigger class of under paid working poor! Every time they increase minimum wage those who've been working for sometimes years don't get any pay increase and new employees just starting out start out making as much as people who've been there longer; if there's going to be a minimum wage increase then those already been with a company should be equally compensated proportional to the minimum wage Increase.

Ever since obulls**t took office the good jobs have gone straight to hell; given to any number of i******s. As a result many of us 'senior citizens' have been swept under the rug. Thus, I've been stuck in a dead end minimum wage $7.25 an hour temp job.
As a senior citizen I seriously doubt there will be any S.S. for me and no health insurance either since I can't afford it...not even obulls**t care.
This is a government subsidized genocide of my generation.

This has been one of my peeves. All minimum wage increase does is temporarily help out the lowest wage earners. The far larger group of people who make a little more than minimum, nine or ten bucks an hour, end up getting screwed. Everytime there is a minimum wage increase, there is, within a few months, an increase in consumer prices, and the the people who did not get a raise see their purchasing power lessened.
