Why is it the companies fault for understand the tax code better?

Every country in this world defines its own tax codes. Why is it that a company that understands the tax codes better than the government are looked upon as evil when they figure out a way to avoid paying taxes? Apple gets assaulted by the US Government over not paying American taxes on overseas earned income. Now Brittain is calling Amazon, Google, and Starbucks to task.

Note to all countries around the world:
If you do not like someone gaming your tax system, quit with the complex crap, make it simple and then there can be less gaming; unless you screw that up as well.

In point of fact, I was not attempting to say anything in particular. I would never call my cohort "dumb".

I read your forum. My mind started mulling what our past founders and other leaders thought and said about taxes. The Hamilton quote stuck, hence my comment.
