I found this to be an interesting take on the political parties.

Republicans are about as dysfunctional as Democrats are belligerent.

Half the Republicans thinks the NSA is a necessary evil. Uh...what? Your hardline "Old Guard Republicans" like your Peter King are being a bit hypocritical. They want small government but defend intrusive entities. Are the Republicans the party of small government or socialist-lite elitists like the Democrats?

The Republicans can learn a lot from Rand Paul. I heavily believe he is the future of the party and maybe the Republicans won't be burried next to the Whig Party.

The Democrats --most of them-- are lock-step like so many goose-stepping Red Guards down Red Square with pro-c*******t ideas. This party thrives off intimidation, power creep and the advantage of a propaganda-esque media.

The really flaky Democrats are pretty much the American version of Bolsheviks and Trotskites.

Bottomline who is more ethical? Republicans are probably the lesser of two evils.

Good article! I don't think the conservatives are dysfunctional, just "weak-kneed" when it comes to fighting "down and dirty" like the libs do to achieve their agenda. Rand Paul is one of the few Republicans that can do it. We need more like him in the party. Get rid of all the old "RINOs".

Can't we all just get along?

I guarantee you that no neocon reading this will dare go to the Congressional record to what bills the Republicans in the house v**ed down or those in the Senate filibustered.

Bush policies brought America to the edge of collapse and before Obama was in office, McConnell declared the number one priority of his party--not jobs or the economy or the reversal of their failed policies--was to make Obama a one term president. That Obama was re-elected illustrates how effective our Republican legislators have been in the most do-nothing and less popular Congress ever. This a matter of record. Look it up, if you dare.

But you won't, for if you do then you are without a soapbox. As for me, I think Congress needs a complete overhaul, both sides of the aisle. Representatives that will do away with this anti-American Patriot Act and all that comes with it. It is thoroughly d********g.

Repubs and dems are both corrupt. but the dems are much more practiced and accomplished at corruption than the repibs are.

Don't you think that members of both parties know what they v**ed for or against, I don't believe thy need the Congressional Record to tell them. You forgot to mention the democrats failure to do what's right at times too.

Look it up, if you dare.I dare, the Community Reinvestment Act passed by a democrat congress and signed into law by Jimma Cartar (another fucking Marxist i***t) forced lending institutions to loan money for houses to those who could not afford them. The lending institutions then bundled these loans and peddled them to somebody else. This all work fine until the under qualified buyers could no longer pay their mortgages. W Bush tried to intervene but Barney ( the q***r) Franks threw a fit. That's a lot of what crashed the economy, of course there where many other factors as well. Both parties are to blame along with their over spending year after year.

But you won't, for if you do then you are without a soapbox. As for me, I think Congress needs a complete overhaul, both sides of the aisle. Representatives that will do away with this anti-American Patriot Act and all that comes with it. It is thoroughly d********g. I don't need a soap box, I agree we need a complete overhaul, and the Patriot Act along with a multitude of other legislation needs to be over turned. And yes, our government is d********g. The NSA needs to työntää päänsä ylös niiden aasit for violating the 4th Amendment.

As we overturn the Patriot Act, perhaps we could defund Adran Vlast Tagatis as it is as guilty as Narodni Oryggi UGynokseg of 4th Amendment violations of the US Constitution. I see no sikkerhed provided to anyone who is a legal citizen.

Well geez, doing a t***slation for you will defeat my purpose. If there is a three letter acronym, there will be three languages, ie. one for each word.

New one, again three word acronym. Szovetsegi Birjos Batida.

That's what I thought you were doing after I thought about it a bit.

I didn't say Conservatives. I said Republicans. Just because you're a Republican does not necessarily t***slate into a Conservative all the time. Just like not all Democrats are liberals or dare I say c*******ts although lot of them are.

Don't fall for that trap of Republican = Conservative. Not always the case. I may v**e Republican often but if a Democrat is going to protect my privacy better than a Republican I'm v****g for the Demmy even though it may leave a sour taste in my mouth.

I don't fall for that lock-step politics. I v**e on principle not matter the if there is a R or a D after it and that is the biggest problem with this country now...
