The majority of the money donated to most of the charity organizations today never gets to where the donator thinks it goes.
I quit donating to almost all of them. What I do now is assist and donate to locals in my community that are living on fixed incomes and cannot fend for themselves. After seeing the abuse being done within the local care and share program I quit supporting it also. I'm more than sick and tired of seeing these no-load welfare i***ts doing absolutely nothing when they are more than capable.
I overheard one young woman say it's stupid for her to work at McDonalds when she gets better benefits from obama and doesn't have to do anything!

And this is only a small part of the overall abuse...

"Giving" money away doesn't solve anything. At best, it allows the donor to choose where it goes. At worst, it makes those receiving the money dependent on it and less liable to try to work for it. Except for the elderly and infirm, people should have to "earn" wh**ever money they get in some way. Much akin to the "WPA". At least this way people may have a sense of "accomplishment".
