The GOP isn't broken. The GOP is attacked on a daily basis by liars and f**e journalist. If the t***h about the GOP were ever told we would own the e******ns. Look at the recent e******ns. Constant lying about Romney k**led his chances. Constant cover ups of all the lies and incompetence of Obama enabled him to win ree******n in spite of a completely failed policy. Romney was attacked for being a flip flopper. BO said he was for traditional marriage to get elected. When the slip happened w Biden he was suddenly for Gay marriage. This was the ultimate flip flop but we never heard a word from the liars in the MM. BO signed an executive order to close Gitmo in one year. Not a word from his lacky's in the media. He stated in 08 that Bush was unpatriotic for having such a huge deficit. He v**ed against increasing the debt limit! Nothing from the MM. Then he said that it was evil of the Republicans to v**e against raising the debt limit. The man is a fraud and a liar. Yet, the media will never ever grow a pair of balls and call him out. He has yet to be vetted! The only problem with the GOP is that they are not fighting back with everything they have got to make sure the i***ts that v**ed for this fraud realize just how badly they are being manipulated!

I make no secret of it. I am ecstatic that President Obama has prevailed over Bishop Willard Romney. In a nutshell, Romney would have brought us back to the regulatory and fiscal policies Bush 2 years, foreign policies of the 80’s, the social policies of the 50’s, and dismantled the social safety nets for those falling on hard time. I was fearful that country was about to take a hard right turn that would take decades to recover from. With supreme court nominations looming, we were facing decades of big money in politics, a rollback on women’s rights, a halt if not a reversal of progress made for marriage e******y, and so much more. I’ll offer more specifics on that later.

First I want to speak to those of you who supported, and still support the likes of Romney and Ryan, and the extremists on the right. Let me be clear, I have no olive branch to offer. The fight to eradicate rightwing extremism has just begun. The people you have supported have tried, and in some cases succeeded, in lying and buying their way into office with your complicity. Those same people have used every dirty trick in the book to attempt to disenfranchise those who oppose them. They have put their own political agenda- the defeat of the president and protection of the wealthy- ahead of the good of the nation. Too often, the people who you supported for office, and others in congress, have demonstrated enormous mendacity toward the President. They have derided him with false accusations of being a socialist, a Marxist, a Muslim, of being Hitler, and of not being an American. Often they don’t even understand the meaning of words that they use and repeat lies without considering if they are true or if they even make sense, but that does not stop them. Many of you and those whom you have supported have said that they are opposed to bi-partisanship and compromise- that the extreme right wing way is the only way. Many of you have based your decisions of support or lack of same on race, religion, fear and willful ignorance of the facts and issues.

I can respect honest disagreements with rational and informed people. I do not respect self righteous and ridged extremists, h**e monger, liars and ignoramuses. I do not respect people who call themselves patriots but seek to destroy the progress made over the last century. I do not respect people who call themselves Christians but follow the philosophy of Ayn Rand. I do not respect people who reject science in the face of overwhelming evidence of c*****e c****e, and evolution. The Republican party has become an anachronism and those who support it are dinosaurs.

You folks have a long way to go to redeem yourself with me. You might want to start by coming to your senses and understanding a few things: Being an adult means that you can’t have everything that you want, when you want it, all the time. Sharing is something that most children over 5 understand. Also, t***h matters as does respect for others. And, in a democracy, politics means compromise. Also, religion has no place in politics… …religious freedom means being able to live, worship and believe according to your own sensibilities. It does mean that you have the right to tell others how to live. Lastly, true patriotism means moving forward to make this the great nation that it can be for all people. Patriotism is more than singing god bless America and pretending that the only problem is taxing and spending too much on those in need.

I agree but I never thought they were very nice to start with ever since Nixion the Gop has been a few cards short of a deck.
I have often said that Ford was the last modrate Republican.
The Gop has always been pretty rotten the only thing that changed was the new information age ended ther Gop hidden problems, pepole like Sharon Angle really did exsist it was just that there was no one around to call them crazy.

Spoken like a true liberal. Nice words and filled with what you learned from an obviously super liberal arts school. BO has lied so often it is hard to know where to start. Yet you call the GOP liars. Lets consider a few important points. 1. Stated he would close Gitmo. Didn't. Stated he was for traditional marriage to get elected. When Biden slipped up suddenly he was for Gay marriage. Says he is a Christian but has watched from the side lines as the muslim brotherhood and their ilk have k**led Coptic Christians in Egypt. V**ed against raising the debt limit, stated that Bush was unpatriotic for a 3 billion dollar deficit. He has amassed a far bigger deficit and now says it is wrong of the GOP to be against raising the debt limit. He says he is for bipartisanship but has been called out by Woodward and some liberal rags for lying about an agreement that was on the table. He commissioned a bi partisan group to deal with the deficit then s**t canned their recommendations. As for using Christianity you should be ashamed. A true Christian would never support a man who is for a******n or who has v**ed to allow a physician to k**l a child that miraculously survived a failed a******n attempt. Just admit the t***h. You , are no Christian. You get upset over 20 some children being shot but your ok with having a million babies brutally murdered in a woman's womb. No sir, you are NOT a Christian.

Humor me then. What exactly has BO done other then divide our country? I have never seen so much division. I honestly think he is destroying the nation. He is always on some kind of a damn vacation. And, unlike the other presidents who went to C David and specific pre set up places this guy goes everywhere spending money like a drunken sailer and what has he accomplished? Yes, Johnny the country is divided. But why is that? Why is BO’s fault? He has borne the brunt of more animosity and disrespect than any other president in recent history. Could it be that certain elements can’t stand the idea of an articulate, intelligent black man in the White House. Yes, I’m playing the race card because little else can really explain what’s going on. The country has been divided from the day he took office when a number of Republicans declared that the #1 goal was to make him a one term president. Not fix the economy, or address any of the other urgent matters, just get rid of B.O. Politics and h**e before country.
