You can purchase an incredible DVD using The link above. It is a moving and accurate story of how the awesome power of prayer got us through the terrible time when we were threatened from the East by Hitler and from the west by Japan. It truly was a time when we were one Nation under God, working together, praying together and sacrificing much.

I am a war baby, born in 1940 and I distinctly remember the fervent prayers in Church and elsewhere. I also remember how every Church service ended with a Patriotic song asking for help from the Almighty. I also remember that when the war ended, the men took turns ringing the Church bell all day long.

Now there are few survivors of that war and when interviewed, they often weep for the direction this Country has taken, We fought and died for THIS ?? I weep along with them because we have forgotten the One who blessed this Country so abundantly, from it's very founding and through times when we were severely tested by the forces of evil. We are being tested right now and to tell the t***h, it does not look good for the America that we once knew. How can it look good for our future when SO many people utterly reject the very God who blessed us so abundantly. But I have not given up hope, because there are still people who will stand for the t***h and never ever give up. Some even do so on OPP. God Bless them one and all.

I'm also a war baby born on 30 January, 1942 FDR's birthday, hence my initials. I'd like to recommend another memorable documentary of the war in the Pacific, Victory At Sea which was also known for it's musical score. Today I remember my Uncles, Ray Konopka who jumped into France with the 82nd Airborne and Steven Gregg who won the Congressional Medal of Honor also in France. RIP

I know every man or woman is rolling in their graves seeing what is happening to the great Republic that they fought and died for.

I have that. Although it is not about America The Battle of Britain is excellent to show how it held out against incredible odds.

Did your Uncle Ray survive the war? As a proud member of the 82nd Airborne, (1958-1961) I have studied their History a lot. One book that was recommended reading when I was there is "Those Devils In Baggy Pants." by Ross Carter, One of a hand full of survivors of his original Company.

Much gratitude and honor to all who serve.

really it’s stupidity on your part. I agree that they v**ed for FDR however the Democrat party then and now is completely different. I use to be a Democrat until I realized that they unlike me have become Socialist/C*******t. You need to take a close look at that party.

I remember being on the Pearl Harbor Memorial and watching the oil from the Arizona creeply break the surface of the harbor. Surprisingly this brought home the whole story of the war to me.
I also remember watching "The World at War" with my father, a Vet. Great series, abd I got a great understanding of the War from it

Like most of what FDR did was socialist. The WPA, CCC, Social Security etc. Be thankful every time you go to a National Park or retire for his good works

I know he was a socialist. But he wasn’t a c*******t or dictator. The first president that was not a socialist was JFK and you know what the CIA did to him

So true, they did not die for what Democrats are doing and want to do to this country. Democrats are desecrating their memory.

The funding for the Socialist-c*******t Party disguised as the "Democrat Party" comes from the Manhattan central bank. Take away their power and the Reds become a mere laughing stock. It can be done and it has been done.
