There are Wars ,big ,small ,everywhere ,all the time .Why?
In peacetime ,governments cannot figure out how to make a profit .War is the only method any large government know that it can use to make endless streams of income ,sucking at the taxpayers trough with glee ,while we happily throw more money at them .We are lied to ,and manipulated into believing that there Must be war ,for the good of all concerned .
Why didn't Europe Britain ,and the U S. move sooner before the s**t hit the fan in Berlin? They wanted war ,they love war ,they make it your duty to die in their war .Let's stop with the war s**t already ,We've destroyed enough

Good points. That is why we are supplying Ukraine and virtually forced Russia into a corner so they would have to attack to defend itself. It never ends.

It is only the governments that want war. Not the common people. Wars are between governments only and we the people have to suffer because of it. Get rid of government control and there will be no more wars.

Wars are because of our sinful nature. We naturally h**e our neighbor. We naturally react with jealousy toward anyone who is more talented than we are at something we want to be. We naturally judge people to be good or bad according to our personal standards of acceptance and rejection of what we want. Instead of just staying away from that person, or group, we want to punish them. It is not natural to do right before God and mankind.

It has been said that war is no different than a bar fight, just on a much much bigger scale. Also use of force on any level is the ultimate form of persuasion. By the way if war is so profitable for governments, why do they need to take on major debt to conduct them?

At one time, war had a purpose, for easily a century that purpose became economics. I agree we really don't need it.
