So our fearless armchair postal warrior has been repeatedly issuing threats to me couched in the guise of challenges such as meeting him and saying things face to face...like school aged kids talking stupidity that can't even be taken seriously.

He wanted to know if I'd ever been doxed, to which I responded yes, I have, and it went really poorly for both the site he was posting addresses and information on my wife's business. I took it very seriously, working with an attorney to immediately demand that Gunbroker remove all offending references to my address and my wife's information, and any follow up posts where others carried through with that. The FBI contacted GB and got contact information, and the threats were taken very seriously...never heard from the offending losers again.

The intent of doxing is to put addresses and contact information out there where some unhinged and sympathetic cowboy can pursue something that has no rational motive, and unhinged people are capable of any number of property damage and acts of terrorism. My wife said that people had called into her office with unhinged threats about liberals needing to watch out for themselves, never knowing when someone might pay us a visit...it freaked her staff out, not so much my wife, just pissed her off.

As far as I'm concerned we don't need this kind of stupidity...and I can tell you that figuring out where someone lives and works when they are postal workers isn't that hard to do...and if threats like this persist I would consider myself justified in going after mr Archie with the intent of charging him with terrorism through the FBI, and pursuing his place of work which has zero tolerance for unhinged behavior like this.

I was pretty pissed off when Archie did this, and as far as I'm concerned his presence can be removed, because no social media site needs this kind of personally confrontational threats. He has constantly made the "woodguru doesn't have the spine to say that to my face" kind of crap. Yes I do, he calls it he can come visit me any time.

I am on secluded property with a long driveway, I practice shooting almost everyday, and I have a substantial collection of custom competition grade pistols and rifles including Davis police speed event pistols.

I just want these doxing and personal threats to stop, I am willing to meet anyone who thinks I'm saying something I won't say to their faces, I'll understand it if they are armchair warrior tough and won't actually put the effort into coming here. I'm sure there's some tough guys on here, but really, lighten up and take a chill pill. How much of a badazz can a postal carrier be if he can have enough sense to keep a job without going postal on someone?

So I ask Archie, you want to go further and I work through the postal service to relieve you of your job, or you want to apologize and move on without the grade school threats?

I am not being hypocritical, doxing is wrong no matter who is doing it, and that citing the left doing it has nothing to do with the other side doing it too.
I have always taken a stand against doxing, it's dangerous and is in reality a precursor to terrorism when it leads to unhinged people threatening people for expressing their views or doing their jobs in the cases of e******n workers and other government jobs.
