I stumbled onto this site by accident. A lucky break.
I was privileged to fly with one of the raiders while on duty in the USAF about 1952 0r '53. I flew a couple of times with Harold Watson, pilot of Raider crew 9. And to add more privilege, we flew a B-25 on those two occasions.

I used that method before I saw what the Dutchman had done. Thanks for posting that. I wonder if Obama would have allowed them to make that raid. I am sure he wouldn't have decorated the men who came back.
