There's people that shouldn't have guns, everyone around them knows that they are potentially going to k**l someone some day.

It's worse than that when family or friends know beyond any shadow of a doubt that the unstable person they know is going to go off sooner or later.

We are seeing that in the majority of mass shootings there were definite warning signs, often reports by family or others that this person was a danger and threat.

Maybe we can't totally eliminate all shootings, but we can take the steps to reduce them and make it harder for unstable people to get their hands on guns.

More laws and restrictions will not reduce the crime rate. Why don’t we try personal accountability and personal responsibility. Where were the parents, family and friends of this mentally unstable Nashville shooter. Surely someone near her knew and saw the signs but allowed her to go unchecked. She was 28 years old, living with her parents who knew she had mental issues yet they allowed her to be near firearms. What about her friend who was told of her intentions to die that day? Where was the personal accountability and personal responsibility? AWOL

That is a good start but adding to that problem is the ease of getting one ILLEGALLY. Prosecute the person who sold that gun to the k**ler with the same charges as aiding and abetting them it would also help.

I couldn't agree more. Take away guns and the only ones who will have guns are the criminals.

I'm sure the Godfather and various other families would not have a problem acquiring a "piece". And machine guns and assault rifles.

So I really wonder how supposedly smart people---in their own minds of course---cannot see this. Actually they do see it, but they want your guns. So you cannot fight back. Right Obamma? I mean, right, woodknot?
