Is it rape if the perpetrator is gay?

In this case a gay 18 year old girl had sex with her 14 year old "girl friend" and the younger girl's parents complained to the law that it was rape. Statutory rape is what an 18 year old boy would be charged with in this case with a girl but it appears that gays don't think that works both ways.
The examples of other 18 year olds that is spoken about in the article just happened to be, or were, black and this girl is white. Maybe race is involved in this kind of crime. I don't think so but then . . . . . . .

I surely don't see how this case is different than if the perpetrator had been a boy. I guess there really is a double standard for those people.

I was just talking about the double standard concerning straights and q***rs. Of course, a boy rapes a girl consensually he is guilty as hell of at least statutory rape but if a lesbian does the same thing she is not to blame.

In my minority years we were always told that by 18 we would be tried for statutory rape if we performed the act on a younger girl and she said the magic words. I don't know about homosexuals back then since they all lived in the closet and I didn't even know about that aberrant behavior till I was in college and one of them tried to put the moves on me. If he had touched me I think that I would have been charged with more severe crimes than rape. In fact, I told him, when I learned what he had been doing that I would make every effort to make sure he didn't play that game on anyone else.

When I was 15 I had a 19 year old neighbor girl rape me once then the rest of the encounters were totally consenting. Never once thought about complaining to anyone.

Girls can always get by with rape with younger boys, but then they may yell rape if they get just a teensy bit pregnant and usually get by with it.

To clarify, it is rape if one of the two participants is a minor and/or the other participant is 3 to 4 years older.
