It is a happy day for one turkey, I'm baking a ham. Thanksgiving, however, needs to be rescheduled to a time of year when you can still get decent fresh tomatoes, I expect you to email your congressman and apprise him or her of this situation.

There are a growing number of RINOs being added to my s**t list. I don't know about you. Personally, I would rather v**e for a Democrat than some RINO Democrat-in-D**g. Liberal Lite. At least you know what to expect.

I do agree....Frankenstein has no real political party preference and come in many colors as well.....lol!

Happy Thanksgiving all! I think we all, of every political persuasion, have much to be thankful for. Not the least of which is being able to freely express ourselves (even to the point of crazy meanness!) in an open forum. I might not show it, but in some way or another I'm thankful for you all.

I hope you enjoy your turkey with the fixin's like our family will in three states and two countries.
My one daughter is still in Turkey and I doubt they will have any to eat over there.
Grandson in London so even that is a question mark.
I spoke to my sister down in Alva this morning. It was 50 degrees and she was freezing.... Poor thing. But she has a passel of children and grand-children to keep her warm.
My son and oldest daughter are up in Virginia, shoveling out and cooking dinner.
We woke up to about six inches this morning and it has been snowing off and on... Looks like it is winding up now but still h*****g around freezing.
My wife is prepping the Turkey for the oven, the Pumpkin pie is cooling in the pantry. (she thinks she hid it from me)... I am starting with the holiday decorations outside in the snow.
We have a couple of widow women on the mountain, so will be taking them a warm turkey dinner later today.
God bless us all. We have so much to be thankful for.

Yummy, a shrimp boil. That brings back such fond memories of my time in the south. No Turkey for us either, shrimp and grouper.
