You’re absolutely correct. Thanks for keeping me in line. 👍🏻 For a whiskey to be considered Bourbon, its mash must be at least 51% corn. There are 3 or 4 other requirements that I’m too lazy to look up. I’d rather go pour myself another. Time is a non renewable resource, you gotta’ use it wisely.

I get the feeling that you have the same filter as myself. Basically doesn't exist unless absolutely necessary. Even then, the engine needs to breathe, if you know what I mean.

I have some oak sticks that I'm planning to use this summer to make a little homemade Bourbon... A neighbor makes corn shine and I'll be distilling my own barley and rye... Not sure how well it will turn out, but it sure is fun to play with

Filter? What filter? I’m not interested in winning a popularity contest. The Mrs. and I were out to dinner with friends earlier tonight. A group of 4 or 5 man buns came in and were extremely loud and annoying and disrupting everyone’s dinner. I asked our server to have the manager calm them down a bit. Nothing. No response, so I decided to take care of it myself. I had a few choice words with them and one guy in particular was over the top even though they all turned down the volume. We finished our dinner and for some reason he was outside when we left. He approached me with a major attitude “demanding” respect. I told him he’d get my f’n respect when he earned it. Then the punk tells me you don’t know who I am. I told him I know exactly who you are; you’re an insignificant arrogant egotistical asshole. Things started to escalate so I gave him the look and reminded him never underestimate an old Marine; there’s a reason we’re old and on top of that I’ve got a pain threshold higher than anyone I’ve ever met. The Mrs. could see that look in my eye. He backed off when he heard her say to our friends; ah damn now we’re going to have to hang around while they try to identify this guy. You go on ahead and we’ll catch up in an hour or so. Every now and then I decide I’ve had enough and let things take it’s course.

How much liquid will the diverter hold? It is quite possible that 3 will fill up first. Lots of answers and I think yours is the most probable.

I still wonder what the definition of "fill" is. Does that mean to the brim so that it overflows? How much capacity do the diverters have?

I think 5, 6, and 7 will remain empty.
