F******l is now the leading cause of death for Americans between ages 18-45.

That is an exaggeration Jim, but the numbers are bad and the worse we have had. And while the war on drugs seems unwinnable, we sure as heck have to do more.. I have never had the problem in my family , but I know others who have and drug problems even if not resulting in overdose and death, become the center of conflict everyday for these unfortunate people..

Try not to dismiss it, but rather to think about it for a bit..

Since f******l is k*****g more Americans than cancer and guns combined, how come Biden is ignoring the drug problem?

But it isn’t. in 2021 67,325 died of all opioids including f******l and heroin. Cancer deaths in 2021 were 608, 570 gun deaths, 45,222 gun deaths.

You do know the numbers can be actually looked up and it isn’t close almost 10 times as many cancer deaths as opioid deaths.

Biden isn’t ignoring the drug problem but to be perfectly brutal drug abusers volunteer for their problems and while there have been record amounts of f******l intercepted at the border under this administration. Drug users are the problem. The DOJ under Biden has been prosecuting doctors and pharmacies that hand out drugs like candy, they have tightened the border and intercepted record amounts of drugs the problem is the Americans who choose to use drugs. Do you expect a president to go door to door and check out medicine cabinets.

I have massive sympathy for the over 600,000 Americans who die from Cancer and the over 45,000 Americans who die from gunfire. I have less for the 67,000 Americans who knowingly choose to become addicted to a drug that is very dangerous and overdose. They are not victims they are participants. They chose their sad end. I had an excellent dentist who knowingly became addicted to F******l and was found at a rest stop dead because he chose to use a drug.

This isn’t Biden’s fault this is the fault of those who chose a very risky high and and lost the gamble.

Illegal??? have you had to get a pain k**ler prescription in the last year or so??

They would rather you sweat bullets than give you any opioid related remedy.. gee, you could become addicted..

I in no way want to minimize the deadliness of f******l, but it is not the #1 k**ler of that or any age group. I looked at a number of statistics and while they did not use the 18 to 45 as an age group, rather they used 5 and 10 year age groups. but accidents were still the #1 k**ler over all the groups of young adults..

Now if we change the specification to "#1 drug k**ler for the age group" we will be spot on.

I did pull a line from you link, but it is also not quite what we are trying to define.. it groups the big 3 to out number f******l..

In the year ending in April 2021, there were 21,335 deaths from the c****av***s in this age group, along with 22,442 from automobile accidents, 17,114 from cancer, and 21,678 from suicide. That adds up to 82,569 deaths, or more than twice the 40,010 deaths from f******l overdoses that year.

Anyway we all know f******l is deadly, and should increase wh**ever we do in order to eliminate it.. as a pain k**ler I think a less dangerous substitute must exist..

Not sure where I found that info I posted, not from your link may have been CDC article, but I was going to cut it.. I do not think it matches what we were talking about.. but heck, let it be..

That’s why so many people are taking f******l. They’re in pain and their doctors will not prescribe them something that works.

that could be true for some.. but going from meds prescribed by a Doc, to street drugs seems far to dangerous for anyone who can still think with any logic.. but I should add that with your mentioning of it, I have heard of that happening a number of times..

They’re punishing the people that really need pain pills. And rewarding the people that are drug addicts.

Few can, and most will not be rehabbed. However, I personally know three people, two dopers and a drunk, who applied themselves and turned it around. I admit, however, most are a waste of oxygen. We should at least throw them a lifeline. If they take it, great. If they don't, fuck 'em.

When I broke my back, I was in excruciating pain. I was given opioids, and I was still in excruciating pain, and constipated to boot.

I could go with giving them a single opportunity...
That's it...
I've seen the devastation they can cause...

Beware of prolonged ibuprofen use-can cause kidney failure after daily use for years. I have a close friend whose cousin is on dialysis due to her years of taking ibuprofen for pain.
