Can We the People Stop the Chipping Away of Freedom?
Posted Wednesday, March 15, 2023 | By Diana Erbio

I remember, a long time ago now, when in my twenties, I had a conversation with my parents after dinner. In the “olden” days we used to have conversations with family members of all generations…I remember many with my grandparents, especially Grandpa…he liked a good debate.

Anyway, the conversation with my parents was about the new seatbelt laws. It was the 1980s…

I thought that the seatbelt laws were a good thing. Of course, wearing seatbelts would save lives. It should be the law. My parents stated their position, they believed that yes, seatbelts saved lives, but why should it be a law? People would understand that seatbelts were beneficial and could choose to wear them. A law was not necessary. How would it even be enforced? Their position got me thinking. Yes, people could, and should decide for themselves. We are a free nation after all…aren’t we?

Now, decades later many of us find ourselves at odds with “the law” as to whether or not we should be mandated to wear face masks…or be required to be injected with a shot to supposedly protect ourselves and others…even though the scientific data seems to support the opposite…

The slow creep of government intervention has sadly graduated to warped speed. Chief Justice Antonin Scalia warned when opposing the Constitutionality of the Affordable Care Act that if we were required by law to buy health insurance by the government, couldn’t we be required by the government to eat broccoli if it was deemed by the government as good for us??

Have we arrived at that fore-warned end? I fear we have. Our government, which was intended to represent us, has convinced all too many of “We the People” that “Our Representatives” are the supreme authority.

“We the People” must WAKE UP and push back against those that are chipping away at our unalienable rights…before those rights are chopped down and left to rot and never retake root.

Yes, government overreach has reached epoch proportions. Cameras on every corner, mandated toxic jabs, the feds listening to every phone conversation, airport security harassing grandma but not the islamists rolling through, schools teaching r****m, white h**e, dems stealing e******n after e******n with no fines, imprisonment or retribution, our leaders in bed with our enemies (literally), our leaders extorting money, laundering money while screwing the American people, i******s breaching our borders and no one resisting,, attacks on free speech declared are necessary to protect our democracy (chucky boy Schumer's famous line), bills passed but not read by our legislators with Nanny pigloosli uttering,, "you have to pass it before you can read what's in it", our c****e press in bed with the demorats and deep state, social media tainting our e******ns with help from the FBI with no repercussions, the Patriot Act ensnaring no foreign terrorists but terrorizing innocent Americans, the IRS weaponized to go after average Americans for no good reason (ask Bathhouse Barry about this), an unjust justice dept, but yet it is declared that this is all necessary to protect the American people and for our own good. This is all bs to ens***e us, deprive us of our liberties and God given rights. The sooner these scoundrels are deballed and made eunuchs the better.

It’s called Democracy .
The Voice of the People.
Not the Voice of The Morbidly Rich .
Democrats haven’t stopped fighting for the Voice of the People.
The right needs to stop giving it all away .

WE ARE A REPUBLIC!

You don't like the conservatives telling you how to live just as we don't like the Progressive Marxist socialist c*******t elitist f*****t big-government statist Democrats telling us how to live. Democracy is mob rule and mob rule is anarchy. Until you learn to accept this you will continue to be misguided and responsible for the downfall of the greatest experiment of self-government in history. But feel free to continue demonstrating your ignorance with no shame to everyone here.

We very well could be at that stage of our countries lifecycle. Sad, but true. The Mongrel hoards have arrived.

That is one reason I love our state. No car insurance or seat belt wearing is required. Of course, it assumes the resident is willing to accept the consequences of their actions (or lack of them). As it should be
