I can not imagine that much snow. We get an occasional dusting that usually melts the next day.

I know.. My grandson moved to Idaho and sends vides of his battle with snow and snowmobiling on the mountain.. in some place a post was marked with measurements and the snow was just a couple inches shy of 8 feet.. and this was during the new years week..

When I was at Pendleton, we did have some snow on the top of the hills, but nothing like they are having this year.. I did go skiing at an area up at.... lake arrowhead and another lake in the area.. think that name is correct..

Big Bear...Snow Summit. My friend has a cabin in Crestline, about 5 miles west of Arrowhead and they had so much snow the roads couldn't be cleared and the National Guard had to fly in supplies for people trapped in their homes.

There is an American island near Vancouver which is only accessible through Canada by road and a Canadian island on the east coast that is only accessible from the USA by road.

Imagine not being able to purchase a gas-powered snowblower. I can't imagine people trying to run electric snowblowers with 100-foot extension cords.

They had a similar bill passed around the capital a few weeks ago but did not make it to committee.... and yes, while they can make an appeal for doing that, It is not near reality.. while lawn mowers will work in a small area.. now way can they make snowblowers pass the test.. some things have no choice but to wait rather then push for right now..

We do see some electric blowers in the home center stores and I know one person who is fine with one to clear his short side walk and 25 foot driveway.. but power and working time would both be problems for most homeowners.

And yet you continue to support the bat crap crazies who as soon as your guard is down will force you to use a battery powered snow blower, a battery powered car, and your neighbor to try to plow you out with a battery powered truck. You KNOW I'm right. The only reason they don't do it now is they know you are awake.

One day you might die because you no longer can use tried and true f****l f**l powered do hickies that actually work.

Wow, what a turnaround for you and Joe. Halfway through Biden's single term the both of you are almost sounding like reasonable people. It's a good thing e******n time is only less than 2 years away. Otherwise you and Joe would still be listening to the bat crap crazies who put Joe in power. Suddenly the not so crazy folks in your party, like Sen. Joe Manchin are having a smidgen more influence.

With President Biden this is all because his policies are making him look bad. If that was not the case the G****l W*****g Crazies would have already come for your gasoline powered life saving machines. It was good folks like me and every other Conservative who slowed Joe down until this point. Now f****l f**led machines might last a decade or two longer.

This was supposed to be a general topic (chit-chat), a non-political topic, but it is morphing into one.
