I maybe shortly go to only watching as I will be starting a new (for me) chemotherapy drug. Do not like the looks of some of the side effects. Yes, stage 4 kidney cancer which has now also in one lung.

I really wish all weapons could be made in farm tools or put to other peaceful uses. Never will happen, but it would be very nice. Yes, those who want can keep their hunting weapons, but that would be it. Do not come out if guns were outlawed only outlaws would have guns, just think if everyone turn in their guns, except hunting weapons, and they were all destroyed, as well as every gun collect by police was also destroyed what do you thing it would cost an outlaw to get a gun? Way beyond what the street tough could pay.

Something must be done about the number of people being k**led by police. I do not have the answer, but something is not right.

It sees to me the country is getting more and more violent, any thought to why?

Sorry to hear of your cancer.
On your topic of guns, it will not work! Drugs are illegal but easily obtained. And did you hear of prohibition! No go.
Criminals would be drooling out of the mouth to such a gun prohibition (they would have them and the public couldn't protect themselves)
The only solution is to allow the public to defend themselves. I hear a lot of talk about England's gun laws, but they would be ineffective here as they are not bordered by mexico, which is the source of many of illegal drugs. Weapons would be next. I think any government that denies open carry, should be charged with negligent homicide in the event that a citizen is murdered and their right to protect themselves was denied.

I know about the gun laws in mexico. But if you google (gun laws in mexico) click on Washington post. The true number of available guns exist. Easily sold to U.S. citizens.

My sincerest sympathy on your cancer. I lost my wife to its ravages. My wife felt the chemo was even worse than the cancer.
