If somebody leaves gun unattended and somebody gets shot (accidentally or otherwise) , this person should be charged..
Dr Phil show is about 9 year old who shot his 8 year old brother in the chest with his father's gun which was left at bedside table unattended... The boy survived, but what should happen to the parents??.. They're on 1 year probation... No jail..I believe they should if spend at least 3 months in jail.. What do you think?

Millions of Americans leave guns lying around the house because they are afraid of the boogie man and cower at the thought of not having a piece available to blast their imagined attacker. These guns far more often than being used for defense are misused, stolen, accidentally discharged or fall into the hands of children. Statistics clearly show that people in households with firearms are more at risk of being k**led or injured by gunshots than households without firearms. This is indisputable. So if the same kid grabbed moms car keys and accidentally ran over his brother or cut off his hand with Dads table saw should mom or dad go to jail? I guess the answer is a matter of the degree of neglect and negligence. One thing for sure, neither should ever be allowed to keep firearms again.

We’ve talked about this before: “households with firearms are more at risk”…..
As I recall, the statistics were generated in urban areas in California. What “households” are most likely to have guns? Well, people who engage in gang related activities, of course! Is gun violence likely to result while dealing drugs, human trafficking, kidnapping, extortion, “turf” wars, etc.? Of course and the statistics are touted as reflecting average, law abiding households.
I’m calling BS (again) on your misleading post.

Put the parents into jail for life, the children separated, and put into the foster care system. People should be punished irrespective of the consequences!

Wrong according to the US government.
But being wrong doesn’t slow down your scumbag reasons rants.

Typical intellectual dishonesty - but it comes pretty easily to you.

If it's not imagined wouldn't you want your gun where you could get to it ASAP? If that's the case why do you want to put the parents in jail? After all, children shooting each other would be just the consequence of living in our violent society!

Well obviously one can keep the gun in a safe.
That way the criminal can rape and murder your children at his leisure.

"According to the US government" isn't a proof...you have to show how the government proved wh**ever you are trying to argue. You didn't do that, instead, you just used "according to the US government" as a fallacy and nothing more...

Gladly
The stats sourced from a CDC-commissioned study finding that instances of defensive gun use occur between 60,000 and 2.5 million times per year.

K**l the parents, Pete, k**l the kids too, I mean fkit, anybody leaves a gun lying around outa be shot.
Anybody who picks up a gun and shoots somebody outa be shot too.
If the gun is a semi-auto sentence them all to 30 days in the electric chair.
Nobody but cops and robbers should have guns, right?

Never said “conservatives don’t have guns”. Just called BS on The Li’l Mulletfuhrer’s reference, to a BS set of statistics.
