Apparently, the tanks must be ordered from a manufacturer, THEN, Ukrainians will be trained to operate and maintain the tanks. This process may take months, maybe years, before the equipment would reach Ukraine.

I think Trump was the president elect, without a r****d e******n in 2020. Trump has effective world leadership. I am certain that war in Ukraine did not happen if Trump was the president.
Now, Biden is sending tons of our TANKS to Ukraine. If war prolongs how many more people are k**led. I think the best is ending the war. But we don't have effective leaders to negotiate that with Russia and Ukraine. Prolonging the war means millions more of Ukrainians are dead.

IMO, those 31 tanks will end-up in our inventory. The war in Ukraine, likely, will not last long enough to see Abrams tanks going into action there.
Truly, we need a border wall. Tanks: not so much. Cartels operate as guerillas and tanks aren’t the weapon of choice, against those tactics.

It looks like the Ukarainians will get new tanks that will replace their captured Russian tanks, and Soviet era ones they have. I really wonder how much of a difference there tanks will make.

I don't agree with this decision. sending tanks and more money. It will escalate, and k**l more Ukrainians. If I have to negotiate ending this war, the two party leaders , Russia and Ukraine, must meet to negotiate, prevent escalation of the war, prevent added costs, and to prevent more Ukrainian deaths.
Added danger: Russia must be tempted to use a NUKE, therefore war could escalate to Nuclear. . This is very wrong and very dangerous. US DOES NOT HAVE EFFECTIVE LEADERSHIP AT THE MOMENT. Except to bankrupt spending lots of money in Ukraine for more Ukrainians to die, while we the people suffer. Tax time is coming, tighten your belt folks. I paying lots to Biden Biden again to spend.
