The Trials of 2023 have come Upon Us, Count it All Joy!

This is an exciting time for all Christian believers to be alive.

As if 2022 was not filled with enough distress, disbelief and blatant attacks on all that is good, here is 2023 upon us, rife with "reprobate minds" ensconced in positions of power and influence across the earth.

"They suppress the truth by their wickedness, and it is upon these people that the wrath of God rests" (Rms. 1:18).

As the strongholds of Satan's kingdom waxes stronger upon this earth, will we soon be commemorating the past year of 2022 as "the good old days?"

In Matthew 24:37, [Jesus said] "As it was in the days of Noah, so will it be at the coming of the Son of Man."

While we know from the word of the Lord how all things will ultimately end, we must encourage each other on a daily basis to remain staunchly grounded - "from faith to faith" - in Him, He who is the Source, the Anchor and the Object of our faith.

James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, wrote in Chapter 1:3,
"To the twelve tribes of the Dispersion: Greetings.
Consider it pure joy, my brothers, when you encounter trials of many kinds,
because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance.
Allow perseverance to finish its work, so that you may be mature and complete in your faith, lacking nothing."

For we Know that God is the ultimate judge and jury and He will hold accountable all those who are responsible for the evil done in this world, just as He "will spew from His mouth" all those who, while confessing Christ as Lord, "are neither hot nor cold, but [tepid] lukewarm" (Revelation 3:16).

Gird up, Church, and stand firm in 2023!
We are the sons and daughters of God's Light in a very dark world.
We will not be silenced, for He is soon coming back.

Jesus told us, "I have told you these things so that in Me you may have peace.
In the world you will have trials and sorrow. But take courage; I have overcome the world!” (John 16:33).

The fact that the world is in the condition it is in is proof positive that Jesus' return is near. But we must always remember it is on God's timeline and not ours; ie. one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day; because it is His desire that no one perish.

Parky, Christians have been speaking of the doctrine of the Immanency of Christ’s return for 2,000 years, and will continue to do so until the actual 24 hour day arrives.

That has never been my emphasis, and is not now. The day, the time and the year are known by God alone. There is no reason anyone on earth today requires those fine details.

IMHO, "that He can return at any moment" has been, and continues to be taught to counter the human tendency to procrastinate; Nine out of ten students, if given a homework assignment with a due date two weeks in the future, will start the assignment one and 1/2 weeks later, often over rating their own ability to complete the task within the remaining 3 or 4 day time frame, which is all the time they have allotted themselves.

There were some signs and are others still, that prophetically must occur prior to the Lord returning for us in the Rapture, for "immanency applies only to the Rapture, not to the 2nd Coming.

It is the beginning of birth pains, the unmistakable signs of the great falling away of the church, and the resultant ever encroaching hatred and persecution of Christians and the body of Christ that was visible in 2022, and will be even more so in 2023, and each year after that to which this thread speaks... and the joy we will realize in standing firmly upon the unchanging Word of God and defending the Gospel of Jesus Christ, as God shakes those things that can be shaken.

It is our individual immanency that need concern us, for the Lord our God has come for each believer in every generation as death has overtaken each of them, and no one really knows when his or her own personal encounter with the Lord will take place.

It is in that sense, that it is best to live each moment of our lives as though the Lord could come for us, - because He can!

Amen! I'm on the edge of my seat and looking up.

I keep hearing about 5D vibration, not 5G vibration. So, maybe they changed something to protect people. Lower vibrations travel further. Elephants and whales both use it. And I hear they have already started cleaning the plastic from the oceans starting with the Pacific Ocean. Pretty sure that's what's making whales die or beach themselves. Bodies weren't made to consume Nano-plastics. And some animals, mostly sheep, have begun suddenly to start circling. Reminds me of the Muslim Hajj. I think a solar flare is headed our way. Musk and NASA launched three rockets recently and CA. had a 5.6 earthquake in southern CA. And parts of CA. are flooded. Old maps show the San Fernando Valley was once ocean and LA. and San Fran was more of an island.

But nothing for Lake Meade but old gangster murderer's victims are being revealed when they are discovered due to the dropping water levels. And a lot of old towns are showing themselves again. And a lot of boats that belong to dead or missing people.

Maybe some Indian tribes will get their land back. And the MS. River is really shallow around Vicksburg. That water may be filling up coast to coast tunnels I've heard about for years. I did hear that HAARP has left planet Earth. Maybe Musk is trying to make Mars habitable. And needs a rain making machine. And it seems Senator John Kennedy from LA. has gotten the Core of Engineers to fill in the channel they made to allow ships a shorter route to the Port of New Orleans at no cost because it has destroyed a lot of their fishing eco systems and steered two hurricanes right into New Orleans. I like him a lot. I can't see how anyone could not like him. He's very funny, to me.

Stay warm, don't fall, and have your best year ever. I wonder how Bahmer and is wife are doing. They should have caught up by now. I was hoping for a visit or dream. I hope they are both loving Heaven and being together again. I hear a lot of people talking about past lives now. Not sure if I believe all that, but many do. That might be why there is no marriage in Heaven. Our spouse is Jesus. Anyway, there has to be some kind of indoctrination course. To bring everyone up to speed on how things operate in Heaven. All I know is, I miss my friend. And when you go, I'll miss you the same way. So, stick around as long as you can. People like you two, make life as good as it gets. But I was never blessed with children. I never got to be fruitful and multiply. Hope that isn't a sin. I think I'd make a good arch angel. Because I'm pretty sure if, I had a past life, I was a warrior. It's one of the few things I'm good at. And if we're retuning to Eden. No one will err this time. I really want to meet all those defenders of the faith I've read about all my life, even Adam and Eve. They were sort of set up to fail, like we all were, a learning experience. We learn best from our mistakes. And they had their job to do. And all tears get wiped away and replaced by unthinkable joy. Would of, should of, and regret, should be absent in Heaven. I hope so, or it wouldn't be Heaven. I often wonder about those who committed suicide on Mt. Masada. They chose death over a life of slavery. But that's a tuff one. I don't think I could have done it. But Rome and their actions were tuff to deal with. Even Hannible slaughtered children. So, probably the reason they lost to Rome

We must be prepared for spiritual wars, and rumors of spiritual wars, requiring the ever present armor-piercing spiritual weaponry of God, up to the day of our deliverance.
