Some will tell you it people causing all of it BUT(there's always a BUT) This is a growing changing living planet it has its seasons. I believe it is getting ready for some major changes that it's been working on for a long time. Weather volcanoes, hurricanes, melting ice caps . Their starting to monitor mount hood/3 sisters/ mt Jefferson and Mt St Helen is building up again you should study up on it go to the ring of fire the US has many volcanoes and we as a nation have been very uneducated about till MT ST Helen made everyone wake up and say WE have volcanoes reason I think they are watching them is Yellow stone that the whole park is a caldera or center of a volcanoe and its producing 500 to 3000 thousand small tremors they are all close together along with California falt lines. Can one cause a reaction to another??? I think their not sure but why not. Glad I live in georgia

I would think that s a difficult item to measure given the short time span we have been able to discover/record eruptions.

Could be a natural cycle.

I wouldn't worry about Yellowstone erupting in our lifetimes. The Cascades in the US are an active volcanic zone and we could see some activities there. Mouna Loa was erupting aprox every 5 yers from the time Cptn Cook discovered it, then a bit longer after about 1850, if I remember it right. Mouna Loa quit erupting in 1984, and has started up again.
I don't think there is a rash of volcanoes erupting now. You are hearing about them now. Like Mt Etna which is erupting more often than not.

The earth's core is not what the 1800's theory still promoted today by the lying USGS as a solid core. The core is Plasma and like a positive negative North/South pole battery.
The only place Plasma is found are the Borealis/Northern lights. When CME's from our sun strike earth, it charges the earth's core which releases extra energy causing the Northern lights.
Most recently the sun has been releasing record M class flares.

The earth like an engine release explosions from a super charged Plasma core that hammers on the underside of the earth's crust causing deep earthquakes. This energy flows around the plate boundaries and even through the plates. Thin points or weak spots in the earth's crust.....Volcanoes, volcanic deformations, multiple oil drill points ect are where the energy is released.
Recently we have had multiple back to Back 6.0++ deep earthquakes lcausing all the plates unrest and moving worldwide.
Up through the 1950's there were 7-8 major volcanic eruptions worldwide per year and has increased to what we see today 5-7 major eruptions per day. The last few weeks that number had increased to the mid 20's eruptions per day, traced back to the deep earthquakes, which then can be traced back to our sun's solar flares increases.
