Biden announces he will ban semi automatic weapons.

So, the Democrats don’t even hide it anymore. Their brain addled leader announced yesterday he will attempt a ban. Will, F him. So around 12,000 homicides by gun last year and Democrats will try to remove our Constitutional Right because this is such a horrible number. Then how come, no attempt to stop the f******l epidemic coming across our southern border, estimated to have k**led over 100,000 Americans this year?
Seems to me banning guns is not about concern for the American people, but an attempt to take away a right and concentrate more power in Washington.

More of Biden the Bloviator's bulls**t. He cannot ban semi auto weapons. This flies in the face of both Heller and MacDonald, the SCOTUS decisions on the Second Amendment. Even without these, there is that pesky Constitution thing, which states in Article I Sections 9 & 10 that neither the Federal or the State governments may enact a post facto law. You cannot criminalize possession of a firearm that was legal when you acquired it. You cannot make anything illegal retroactively, nor can you penalize someone for an action that was legal when they did it.
The SCOTUS has stated that as commonly owned rifles, (more than 20 million) AR15s, (the usual low-h*****g fruit targeted by anti-gunners.) are protected by the Second Amendment.
Biden is simply pandering to his dwindling base, composed more and more of people who are as incredibly stupid as he is.

I don't think he'll succeed, but I don't think there's a constitutional right to own semi- automatic weapons. Should citizens have the right to own 50 cal machine guns?
