I heard Macron being critical of the US making profits off of our sales of LNG to them, saying we were selling it for too high a price. But a little research reveals that the gas is marked up, over there, four times before it gets to the consumer.

The US exports only a small portion of natural gas to Canada's eastern coast by pipeline. Canada is a major exporter of natural gas to the US according to the US Energy Information Administration. What's going on here?

Apparently was are shipping LNG in great quantities to EU and it is being marked up greatly once it gets there and Macron is blaming us for it.

The best path for American to become energy independent is by using the HUGE capabilities we have. Then begin research into other options in a careful, controlled manner - instead of rushing crazily into wind/solar and their well-documented inadequacies and failures.
