Please watch this recent episode of T***h Today with special guest Mohamad Faridi, a former Muslim like myself, from Iran. We discussed the deceptions in missions to Muslims.
As a former Muslim, I am at times amazed and shocked how easily Christians are deceived by Islam, Muslims or even Christian missionaries claiming to be reaching Muslims for Christ.
Today the predominant missional approach to reaching Muslims for Christ is based upon "common word," interfaith, bridge building and the Abrahamic faith lie.
Praise God that He rescued both Mohamad and I out of the darkness of Islam through the power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and not through these deceptive practices.
In this episode, Mohamad and I discuss the evidence that Islam is not Abrahamic, Allah is not God, and interfaith is unbiblical. We also expose the fallacy of friendship evangelism and much more.
Islam is known as a Abrahamic religion but that has value only in the secular world. Its a false religion.

👍 That's true! Mohammad was NOT a prophet! He redacted a lot of his sayings when he moved from Mecca to Medina. I believe it was because he got a taste of Judaism.

The former Muslims are one up on me, because at least they presumably have studied Islam, which I have not done. I disagree with them anyway.
A great many Muslims, also, must surely disagree with Shahram and Mohamad, so I'm in good company on that matter.
I have not read the Quran (Koran), have not studied Islam, and did not go to the link in the Original Post. But even so I'll give a quick opinion here now:
Islam is Abrahamic because it traces its history to Abraham, similarly as Judaism and Christianity are Abrahamic because they trace their history to Abraham.
I disagree with the statement "Allah is not God". I think that if the Old Testament God is God (the supreme being) (which I doubt, actually), then Allah is probably also God (the supreme being). It would be just another name for God.
The statement "interfaith is unbiblical" is probably true; but interfaith is right and the Bible is wrong in this respect. In the Bible (such as in the even-numbered chapters of Joshua), one religious group (the descendants of Jacob) invade a land, commit ethnicide (tearing down other people's altars), and commit genocide. They were wrong to do so (even if they claim God made them do it). (If a god _did_ make them do it, then that god is not the supreme way of being.)
Parts of the Bible are very interesting. (I'm impressed by Genesis, not for religious reasons but rather for the scope of it and the kind of mind or minds that could write all that.). The Bible's an interesting book but not necessarily a final authority or true or the best interpretation of reality. I do not regard "biblical" or "unbiblical" as much of an argument for anything other than to examine the Bible itself.
There. All that's one person's (my) quick opinion. Perhaps fewer than 1% of the people on OPP would agree with it.

Your opinion is waaaaay off the mark! Islam does NOT trace its history to Abraham. The ONLY descendants of Abraham are Israelites! The original Jews descend from Esau, Jacob's twin brother. The f**e Jews (aka Ashken**is) are not remotely related to Jews or Israelites.

And Judaism is not Judean.

Many Arabs are descended from Ishmael
Your geneology claims are not that accurate. People should know that.

Thank you for that comment about the other person's post.
My own thoughts:
Aren't Muslims, such as Islam's main prophet, descended from Ishmael? According to the Bible, wasn't Ishmael the first-born child of Abraham? Or first-born son?
I've heard, or read, many times that Judaism, Christianity, and Islam are Abrahamic religions, and geneology would be one way to explain that, but I think the main point in calling them Abrahamic religions is that they grew out of similar traditions. For example, they're all monotheistic, and they all started in the Middle East, and the later versions (Islam and Christianity) were aware of the earlier versions (Judaism and Christianity). One big example of this awareness of earlier versions is that Muslims regard Jesus as one of their prophets. And Christians still regard Old Testament prophets as true "prophets" even though the Old Testament and its prophets were about Judaism, not Christianity per se or not Christianity proper.
Jesus was a Jew. It was not until about 300 AD that the followers of Christ distinguished themselves from other Jews by calling themselves Christians, and declaring that Sunday as the Sabbath. Pope Constantine promoted this thinking during that era. Many Chistian faiths still study the Old Testement and call rhe desert fathers "prophets".

I do not advise lying about the Word of God.
The followers of Jesus did not call themselves "Christians", the Romans did.
and Christians did not declare Sunday as the Sabbath,
the Gregorian calendar didn't even exist back then.
The Old Testament prophets were, in fact, divinely inspired prophets of God.
If you compiled the nearly 400 Messianic prophecies in the OT, you will have the entire story of Jesus from birth to Ascension.
He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.
Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.
But he was wounded for our t***sgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.Isaiah 53.
It is not a lie that Pope Constantine, head of Rome, distinguished the Christians of that time from the Jews, and promoted changing the day of worship to the first day of the week. And those who followed the Roman pope called themselves Christian. If this information is wrong, then the Seventh Day Adventist Church utterly fails, as this is the premise upon which the religion of those believers is based, as is the Commandment that states that Thou shall keep the seventh day holy. Don't be so quick to call names. I may be in error, but I surely do not deliberately perpetuate falsehoods. Judge not lest you yourself be judged.

You're absolutely right! Judaism is an evil religion. Judean is a person who comes from Judea.
