A bulldozer would scrape them off the runway easily enough. It's time to stop catering to these folks. Except where traffic is concerned just leave them glued to wh**ever it is until the beg & plead to be unglued, then think about it for a few days.

Those X's you see on the runway indicate the runway is closed for repairs. How would that be disrupting air travel?
