The Destructiveness Of What Musk Is Doing With Twitter Is Beyond Most To Be Able To Understand It...
Twitter has evolved over many years, the objectives, goals, and special projects where more functions and abilities are taken on have taken new teams of people handling specific departments and projects. Each department and team has guidance and management that has to be there to keep everything being done in ways that work well with the overall system...there is no point in developing a new set of features if the don't work well with the system.
New development people are long term commitments, it takes months and even years to become top level key developers...and software development done by many people has to take on a team style or what one person does will not work with other people's code, they will not be at all compatible.
Trying to downsize would be better done just to pull the plug on departments rather than try to eliminate part of their teams...and doing so would demand a careful orchestration with department/project heads to ask them who or how they could do with less people, losing some key players would decimate and end the project.
Elon wants to create a team of yes men players, he wants to dictate super efforts and hours...and a key rule of thump here is that one person working 80+ hours will never be able to do the work two people can during a normal work week. Then if you have to pay the overtime of time and a half and double time, getting less work out of the one person will cost you close to double the wages...unless of course you are an unrealistic i***t like Musk is who believes for some reason people should be willing to put super efforts into his goals without being compensated for it.
...If you lose key talent you are screwed, it really cannot be replaced
...If you lose team project managers you are really screwed, because then you have the team without the guidance they need to function
...Super insanely heroic efforts will never get you quality results
...The people that will agree to such self inflicted insanity will never be your best people, because the best people won't tolerate being abused
Twitter will never be close to what it was, it is about Elon trying to reject government control and oversight, and he has created an a******n out of Twitter

Lets us hope not. Twitter was losing money. Elon Musk is trying to make it profitable.

We can all be thankful for that. We certainly don’t need or want another government propaganda machine censoring opposing views to the government agenda.

Exactly. It was a left wing propaganda sight teaching people that many t***hs and opinions are "disinformation." Since when can an opinion be disinformation.
The l*****t snowflakes melt and crumble when an opposing point of view surfaces. They just want an echo chamber to validate their stupidity. They CERTAINLY don't want to think!!!! Witness their claims of being "injured"" or "harmed" when an opposing point of view hits their screen. They need "safe" zones to keep from being "hurt" by the opinions and points of views of others.
Just imagine if they encountered Islamic people in a Muslim country! They would lose their heads!!! Literally!!!

It matters not. He bought it, he owns it, and it's his to do with as he wishes. If it winds up in the trash pit, that's no skin off your nose, and he has enough money to live hundreds of lifetimes. Unlike you.
Personally, I think it would be hilarious if he just crashed it, dusted himself off, and said: :"Well, that one left a mark, but it'll heal. Time to move on."
He can do that. He has the money, and it's his to destroy if he chooses to. He isn't obligated to provide jobs for people anymore than any other company is.
Get over it, and face reality.

=========================
1. It is his a******n to do with what he wants.
2. No one is irreplaceable, but to fill key spots will take time.
3. Sometimes less is more, amazingly so.
4. It is exactly the middle management types that should go. They are the ones that allowed the permissive work ethic in Twitter to spiral out of control. So, they go!
5. If Twitter becomes an open, honest, low or no bias, welcoming, and useful site, Musk will have no problem hiring good people, and he will make money, sooner or later.

Oh my. L*****t are about to lose what little mind they have. Elon Musk may actually allow views that dissent from the prevailing left-wing/socialist/c*******t/f*****t ideals that most of the information/entertainment industries have adopted/happily pump out for their ideological masters. The sky is falling/the sky is falling! People might hear something outside the narrative. I hope they are right. The left/Democrat/C*******t Party is afraid that when people are presented with the t***h that the left has been stifling:
they will be thrilled that it is finally available
they will get really angry that is was suppressed
the left hopes:
they will deny the very t***h they learn
some will try to again suppress the t***h
After all, it is so much easier to go-along-to-get-along. But there is a big problem. Accepting just a little bit of evil is never enough for those who promote evil. They will endlessly demand another, then another concession/compromise...eventually surrendering the entire society to 'just a little bit' of evil.

Given the "objective" choice of choosing Elon's resume, intellect and abilities over your own, hahahaha, even suggesting it is hilarious.
Been reviewing twitter and the comments to the tweets. By far and away, the l*****ts are the most vile, angry and h**eful group on their. They are so triggered!! Much of what they tweet are repeats of the stupidity heard on CNN and MSNBC and like the l*****ts on OPP, they repeat things which are not true and have been thoroughly debunked. All they want is their echo chamber. So sad are the obsequious comments to those who they follow, hoping and praying to get a response, saying exactly what they think their hero's who they follow want to hear.
It is a sad place. Hard to believe that folks are on it so much.
