Thank you for the prayers. Armie told me yesterday I would see only one set of footsteps because I would be carried through the day. I see days coming where, again, there will be a need for the carrying.

Thank goodness, He is there and knows our needs before we do.

His word will not return void

Isaiah 57: 19

I create the fruit of the lips; Peace, peace to him that is far off, and to him that is near saith the Lord; and I will heal him.

The fruit of your lips are the prayers you bring to God. He hears the peep of the sparrow, will He not hear you also? You are His child, and He is always eager to forgive and to bless His children. Keep that always in mind when you bring His Words before Him, then thank Him and expect Him to heal wh**ever is your ill.

God declares peace to the Gentiles who are far away, and to the Jews who are near. Keep in prayer your Jewish brothers at all times, for God promises He will bless those who bless Israel. Israel is our brother in so many ways, bless them Lord as You bless us this day. Thank You.
b His word will not return void br br Isaiah 57:... (show quote)

I have no argument with your interpretation, but I see something else. If the "fruit of the lips" is what God created, they are not the prayers we bring to God, for then the order is reversed. Is this significant? Perhaps, or in my eyes. Near or far our lips are never loud enough...except by the volume of God. He beckons those from a distance and gives peace to those near.

I have no argument with either interpretation, for me however, I think Gods sovereignty is acknowledged in that even our most earnest prayers are provided by him.

If you look at just our lips, they can move but actually say nothing, the words are in our head and uttered from our ability to speak. All of which have been given us from God - He knew us in our mother's womb....Job 31:15 "Did not He who made me in the womb......"

Our good thoughts come from Him, but Satan plays a part in our lives as well, and gives us evil thoughts - which I need not go into. We have free will, in which we may choose to speak the good thoughts that come to mind, or we may questions them - as you do.

You analyze things to death Rumi, so ruminate on this: Heart is to soul, as brain is to mind, as flesh is to spirit, each have a material to a non-material counterpart, Why then can't reality? Our physical reality has a counterpart in a non-physical, mental and emotional sense and reality.
