Sounds like a great dog. Yes. Ft. Myers got pounded. Looking into going down there and see if we can help.

I looked that breed up too - What a pretty dog!! (YES, you can call boy dogs pretty!)

I have a bordoodle (poodle/bordercollie), and the border collie in her wants to herd us everywhere. Having two of the smartest breeds in her makes her THE smartest doggy in the world (at least I think so 😁). She knows colors ("go get the green ball....go get the blue ball") and hugs - I mean REALLY hugs - everybody she comes in contact with. She puts her front paws around your legs and her head on your tummy and actually hugs. Our neighborhood calls her the "huggy doggy".

I'm reading about and looking at pictures of Fort Meyers....looks pretty bad to me. Lots of devastation at the coast.

I heard DeSantis asked for help, and got it, from 23 other states!

Good luck! And hats off to you for being there to help!!! 🙋‍♀️👏

Not there yet, but looking into it. I’d go with a Church group if I go. Keep you posted. There’s work much closer to me also, just not as bad.

We once had a border collie that came from working parents, and was given to my daughter by the at the feed store who did all the 4-H stuff with us.
We had 6 horses at the time. So, we had to get home from work, trailer up, load up, get my son to ball practice on the other side of town, my daughter, and her horse to one arena for horsemanship, and barrel practice, Mrs Bunker and me to another arena for pony express, and playday practice.
As if it wasn't chaotic enough, we'd get home, and that damn dog had all the horses herded to the far back corner of the pasture, and had been holding them there for Lord knows how long.
We finally gave him back to Mike, who then gave him to a cowboy on one of the local ranches so he could work. Sweetest dog you ever met, but, damn he was aggrivating!! And, no training, he just did it.

And, yeah, it's looking pretty bad there. Today, it crossed my mind that our friend Airforceone is in Naples. They got hammered there. I hope he's ok too.

Sitting here in Seminole waiting for the hurricane. Sticking it out. I’m on the Gulf Coast bout 2 miles from the ocean. That area may get swamped. I’m over 30 ft. above sea level. Not worried about surge, but wind damage could be an issue. Have a big GenerX generator with 2 120 gallon tanks of propane. Me and the ball and chain are gonna stick it out and help our older (and more inexperienced) neighbors. Some are panicked. Wife’s already delivered meals and it isn’t even raining here yet. Keep you posted. Wish us luck.

Guess I'll have to have a look, or not. I don't want to see any harm come to him. Well, unless it's from a headbutt to the bridge of his nose, a throat punch, and my boot up his ass. Of course all of that would be done with the best of intentions. We'll call it tough love.
Yeah.....that sounds good!

He has wished my family death by gun many times here. I'm not gonna celebrate if he's wiped out by this. I'll figger he earned it, but I won't be grateful about it. Poor guy.

He’s wished the same for my family. He’s mostly a mental case, drunk, or both.

Well, I'm all that, but he's a little different.

My granddaughter lived in a small town not far from Sarasota that got nailed by this monster!! Fortunately other family members were there to help her and her roommate out with better shelter!! The worst thing that happened was a tree that went through my granddaughter`s car. By the grace of God they all are fine!!
