A testamonial about God....

Take a look at the photograph below and read the next paragraph before you continue as I describe a weird happening.

In the photograph you will see on the right side a table in front of the fourth window... My wife and I had just sit down with our Sunday meal and were preparing to enjoy our food. When suddenly out of nowhere and unannounced a real nice young lady appears with her tray and asks if she can join us.

On the left side of the photo is the serving line. There were about twenty people working their way through the food choices and then finding their seats. There were plenty of spaces and many tables had young adults more her age...

Oh, Btw. This restaurant is at the Methodist retreat known as Lake Junaluska if you want to search it up on the internet..

Anyway, we had a very nice conversation during our meal. Talking about many things and sharing lifes experiences. The young lady told us she was a new minister with a offshoot branch of the Methodist and was looking for her own Anglican church. Not being a member of the Methodist we just listened and tried to learn. She did not preach but her stories were very uplifting and full of faith in the biblical teachings. So realistic I remembered another Jewish friend of mine who took his family to Israel and returned a changed man. Were there lessons to be learned here, today as well?

The lunch continued on for about a hour when with little pr********n, the young lady asked to be excused, told us she saw someone on the serving line who she had to meet. Reiterated her appreciation for our company and departed.

Now the mystery. She walked across the room to the column in the center of the dining area, stepped around the column into the serving area and flat out disappeared in a nano-second.

I watched for a minute or two for her to reappear on the line talking to someone, but she just vanished. I even got up myself and walked over to the area I has last seen her and although I could see the whole room and everyone in it. She just was not there and had little enough time to leave the room.

I don't have an answer, and you can feel free to judge as you want, but my wife and I feel very blessed to have met with her and cannot shake the experience.

Has anyone else met this girl? If you have you will surely remember as well.

Well Mr. ghost, here is what I can tell you.

Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it.

~Hebrews 13:2

Your testimonial does not shock or surprise me my friend. I have found that when you allow God to open your eyes to Him, He will let you in on an occasional secret that is not available to the unbelieving mind.

I have had very level headed preachers tell me how they encountered pure evil. I myself have had more than one brush with the world I'm headed for but, by God's will am not yet ready for.

I read what the mockers and skeptics write on here and, I just smile. Like a parent listening to young children brag about things they have no knowledge of. I'm secure with my first hand experience, that the world has many things going on that we can not see or, just refuse to open up to.

It makes me bolder and, I have no fear

"...for I know whom I have believed and I am convinced that He is able to guard what I have entrusted to Him until that day.

~2 Timothy 1:12

Confidence is great, no matter what your age!

God bless!

By your comment, it must have been your brain. A pretty paltry snack to be sure but, if you're hungry enough, any fool will do.

If you were just kidding bob, so was I!

Awesome. I, too, have had experiences and heard of others. God loves to surprise us every now and again. He knows we need a bit of a tap on the shoulder at times, and it always leaves us blessed.

Evil can interrupt our peace but I always feel the confidence that only Christ can give. No fear, as you said Rock. Evil is nothing in the presence of our loving Savior! And angels are His gift...our very own bodyguards and heavenly friends. :D That's the way I look at it anyway.

As Gods word instructed us Hebrews 13:2 , we may be entertaining Angeles unawares.

In my Christian life many times supernatural events occurred. Glory to my Almighty God.
Your extremely fortunate when there are so many living by faith, not aware or experiencing the blessings such things.

It seems to be that new spirit we receive that gives us these not so uncommon similar experiences NS. I have found that God may tap His girls on the shoulder but, slaps His boys along side their head. You feel blessed, me rather attentive...

You look at it wisely too, regarding peace and fear,

Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be fearful.

~John 14:27

And,

Do not be afraid of those who k**l the body but cannot k**l the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell.

~Matthew 10:28

And about those angels...

Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation?

~Hebrews 1:14

No fear NSue and, there's great peace that comes with that!
