The unanimous three-judge panel for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit sided with the House Democrats, who initially sought five years of federal income tax returns from Trump and several of his business entities in 2019 while he was president.
Citing a renewed request for the tax information in 2021 from Rep. Richard Neal, chairman of the Ways and Means panel, after the change in p**********l administrations, Senior Circuit Judge David Sentelle wrote in a 33-page ruling that the request "was made in furtherance of a subject upon which legislation could be had," and rejected claims from the former president that Democrats' request for his tax information was unconstitutional.
"While it is possible that Congress may attempt to threaten the sitting president with an invasive request after leaving office, every president takes office knowing that he will be subject to the same laws as all other citizens upon leaving office," Sentelle wrote. "This is a feature of our democratic republic, not a bug."

But no President should have to face severe witch hunts looking for anything and everything they can find to harass a President, during and after his term, for the sake of punishing people of the opposite party for the sake of going after people they h**e. These people are nothing more then a lynch mob of h**ers with a h**e bias beyond reason. There example of h**e and harassment would ultimately lead to really good people looking at the hatred and vindictiveness of the opposition, and think that public office isn't worth the personal attacks or bias and hatred.
And you appear to be an ever bit a willing person of that lynch mob. Pathetic.

A court he legitimately appointed members to, to serve and act for the Constitution and not party.

Witch hunts are where they have nothing and have to struggle to find something, trump spent five years openly flaunting his attitude that he was above the law as he violated it in dozens of ways...every time he told a staffer to refuse to testify he was obstructing.

Trump is the most investigated president ever, for the last 6 yrs. +. Don't you think if anyone had anything on Trump it would have come out a long time ago. What is going on now is desperation to keep Trump from being president.

And yet after seven years you are still searching. Not very bright, are you?
