DeSantis, the contentious governor of Florida vs trump with his influence and prospects that are fading fast. Then there’s Mike Pence. There’s choice.

Florida is experiencing new v****g limits and the ban on teachers discussing g****r identity with young children which equates to the “don’t say gay” law. Book bans, bans on Critical Race Theory and the New York Times, using children as pawns to promote a r****t political agenda, DeSantis is a refined, more purified version of trump, without the incompetence. Whether he’s more efficient and ruthless and able to get things done is another matter entirely.

DeSantis craves executive power and he, as president, would engage in its use at a scale that would be detrimental to the country at too many levels. Already he is attempting to remove all power from independent colleges and universities. That power would be replaced with his governance at every institution in Florida from top to bottom. And that is just the beginning.

As much as many across the nation argue that DeSantis would be preferable since he would not threaten the foundations of America’s constitutional democracy, unlike trump, there are no guarantees.

You’ve been warned: Who’s the better thief? The one who breaks the window to get into your home or the one who deceptively picks the lock? DeSantis knows how not to trip the alarm system.

Nevertheless, don’t go choosing curtains for the White House just yet.

WOW Quora is a sounding board. There is only one thing bad about that. There is no evidence of what the people say is true. Anyone can and DOES answer questions sent in. I bet you have answered some yourself and we all know what kind of answers you would give.
I have no children or grandchildren or as in your case great grandchildren to worry about. The very people that you keep building up as the honest wonderful people that want to “save” our democracy are the very people that will destroy it. I feel sorry for your grandchildren because if these people you support end up winning, they will have a miserable life if any. You suffer from TDS. No medicine for it except pure ol common sense.
