So long as you conservatives would rather listen to lies over t***h there's not a damn thing that can be done to restore confidence to our e******n. Remember 2016? Trump was running around claiming that Democrats were c***ting without a single v**e being cast. Remember 2020? Trump made the same claim and what is really galling is that in both cases conservatives believed his accusations were true. Do you want confidence in our e******n? Stop nominating known liars to office...

Yeah it's us conservatives! Go talk to Nancy, she's still b***hing 6 yrs later.

My kids were healthy, living human beings inside the womb, didn't wait for a lying POS man to tell me otherwise.

You know, Pete, one thing I could agree with you on is that politicians MUST be held accountable to their lies, especially when their lies influence policy decisions that impact Americans. And they should be held accountable in direct proportion to the amount of impact, not based on their “intentions of good will” if it is found out they did not present all the facts, pro and con, about their proposals so that we the people can make informed decisions.

Until “we the people” can come together to hold all our politicians accountable, regardless of ideology or political leaning, they will continue to fleece us and laugh about it behind our backs.

As long as we each think “our” side lies less or the politicians lies on our side aren’t just as destructive as any other lie, the “lying class” (politicians) are just playing us against each other for their own advantage.

Furthermore, as soon as someone enters politics, they should no longer be allowed to call themselves “we the people”, they should be compelled to call themselves “servants of the people” so they acknowledge their voluntarily subservient position in American politics. To many politicians enter politics because they want to rule, not serve. And lazy Americans love to relinquish their responsibilities, along with their rights, to these tyrants.

Anyone who can’t agree with me on these basic concepts, is simply an enabler of the tyranny of American politicians, and Party affiliation is irrelevant… and politicians are fully aware of that and take advantage of it.

Thanks, but alas I admit, how to implement a change in culture without the wrong people taking charge has got me baffled.

But! If we can agree that dishonest politicians on both sides is the root of the problem, perhaps there is some hope?
